Star Wars x Adidas Originals Event Recap

In what became an iconic scene on the streets of NYC, Snoop Dogg, Darth Vader and the Storm Troopers took to the streets to re-enact the Imperial March from George Lucas’s Star Wars. The morning-long event began in Times Square where Snoop and the Star Wars brigade hit the Times Square Foot Locker for the unveiling of the Adidas Originals x Star Wars Collection. After tourists sped through their click wheels, it was back to the streets, to re-enact the Movie’s March aided by thumping Star Wars theme music throughout the day.

Once Snoop made the sojourn downtown, the smoke machines were activated (no, not by Snoop) and the garage door on the Adidas Originals store was lifted to show Snoop Dogg, Darth Vader, and the Adidas Originals x Star Wars Luke Sywalker shoe. The event united sneaker heads, Star Wars fans and hip-hop lovers in quite the downtown cross-section. The Storm Troopers had the area covered for security, and the fans poured in to get their hands on the kick and a flick with their favorite veteran rapper. Click Here to see more from the event.

u cn cop them at the adidas webpage adidas .com nd search star wars and you’ll find that they have track jackets and shirts to go with the sneaks and the sneaks themselves.
