Nike Dream Season II

Nike Dream Season II

With the release of the Kobe V, Nike will soon deliver its complement, the Dream Season II. The first Dream Season released after the Kobe IV and was an Asia Exclusive just as the II will be. This Nike practice extends beyond the Kobe line as it is also seen in the LeBron line with the Ambassador models serving as the Asia Exclusives.

The Dream Season II is a low-top unlike the high or mid cut of the first Dream season. The design of this shoe is heavily steeped in that of the Kobe V and it features some of the same technology such as flywire. Once again, this sneaker will be an Asia Exclusive to release in the Summer of 2010.

The last Ambassador II to posterize sneaker blogs was the SVSM make-up that paid homage to LBJ’s high school. Here we’ve caught sight of another Nike Zoom LBJ Ambassador II O.R.A.P. (Outdoor Rubber Asia Pacific) composition.

This version is wrapped in indigo denim that is stitched together with white contrasting thread. Other attributes include: a white tongue, white laces, a white midsole, and a navy outsole. Leo Chang, the shoe’s lead designer, asserts that these kicks are served at a middle price point and thus catered towards an audience looking to hoop and tromp around in the same pair.

Unfortunately, these will release as an Asia-Exclusive during the Holidays. However, with some digging, they shouldn’t be too hard to import. Flip past the macro shot for multiple pictures of the whole shoe.

Nike Air Force 25 “SVSM”

Nike Air Force 25

When we showed you the Nike Zoom LBJ Ambassador II “SVSM” yesterday, many of you did not take too much of a liking to it. Obviously, it was the silhouette that you didn’t like seeing that you have applauded the colorway in the past. With that said, how does it look on the Nike Air Force 25?

Similar to the previously mentioned Zoom LBJ Ambassador II “SVSM”, this shoe also possesses a predominately white leather base with regular leather seen on the toe area and pebbled leather appearing on the side panels. The green and gold accents are visible throughout the side and heel panels in the form of the swoosh, collar area among other places. To finish it off, this sneaker is complimented with a translucent sole. Click here to view detailed photos.

With all the hype surrounding the Air Max LeBron VII, it’s hard to believe Nike has time to push and design more LBJ products, but that’s just what they’ve done with the Zoom LBJ Ambassador II. If you recall from the last time we covered this silhouette, we learned it was designed as an “anti-VII,” releasing as a cheaper alternative sneaker in the Asia market.

We had a look at this next Ambassador II months ago with only one picture, but now we have detailed shots. It also doesn’t look destined to come stateside, though it borrows its colorway from LeBron’s Ohio high school. A green XDR outsole matches up with the collar and tongue, while gold accents throughout complete the color-up. Multiple LBJ logos appear throughout, including the tongue, upper and “King James” on the heels.

Would you grab the Amabassador IIs if they came stateside?

While on tour promoting his “More Than A Game” World Tour in London, LeBron was spotted wearing some Navy Ambassador IIs.

If you remember from our previous coverage of the not-the-Soldier-or-the-VII LeBron sneaker, the Ambassador II is designed as a low-top, outdoor-specific, lower-priced model for the LBJ line. LeBron debuted the white version in Beijing, and we’ve showcased part of the 2010 Spring lineup. These look to be using a navy upper with white contrast stitching and carolina blue accents. The shoe LeBron can seen showcasing while wearing the Ambassador IIs is the Nike Air Max LeBron VII “London,” which was put together for the tour.
