Give a gander to what Nike Skateboarding has up its sleeves for this July. This Nike SB Dunk Hi rocks an Urban Haze/Black colorway and is inspired by Chrome Ball Incident, a skate blog. Some also speculate that the colorway is a reference to the Airwalk Enigma as it possessed similar color blocking.

Sneaker Geeks is back in full effect! Last December, we launched three different Sneaker Geeks features that showcased shoes inspired by cartoons, video games and movies. The latter section seems to be more popular with the brands. How so you might ask? Well, we have dug into the archives and compiled another list of movie inspired sneakers withing this past year. The jeffstaple x Airwalk releases have been a controversial issue with many ‘heads. Some viewed Staple’s low-priced work with Airwalk as an awesome step forward for affordable collections, while others were dismayed at him “tarnishing” his reputation. Though the price of his past work was recently dropped to a mere $10, the two have paired up again for this three-pair release of Airwalk Terrain Hi Skates.

Payless currently has these available online. Three pairs are available in “Starfleet” colorways, including burgundy, saffron and sapphire. All three are treated to suede uppers in the above colors, with either a black or white midsole. Starfleet logos appear both on the heel, tongue and the debrays. This pack was put together for the release of the Star Trek DVD tomorrow, November 17th.

Airwalk wants to give you a dollar. Well, kind of. They are actually giving the dollar away in your name, and all you have to do is choose to which charity they give it.

Simply visit the Do Your Part website and choose either the Surfrider Foundation of Music for Relief. The Surfrider Foundation spends its time and donation money on preserving the oceans and beaches of the world, while Music for Relief is dedicated to helping the victims of disasters. Current assistance is going towards victims of the typhoon and flooding in Southeast Asia.

With limited collaborations, the entry price of obtaining a Staple Design product or “pigeon” product has been far out of reach of many, but with the recent price reduction of several STPL x Airwalk shoes, most should be able to obtain a pair.  Full size runs are currently available for $10 a pair at Payless.

Jeff Staple has been back at the drafting table after his successful collaboration with Airwalk. Staple Design has gone in on the Converse Sea Star yet again. However this time Staple’s illustrious Pigeon palette has been supplanted with a Black/Red colorway in accordance with Converse’s 1HUND(RED) campaign.

The features on this shoe include black suede, co-branded logo tags, and red accenting via the stitched “100″ on each tongue. These midtop sneakers symbolize their cause, fiscally combating AIDS, with the red top lace holes, a steadfast trademark of the 1HUND(RED) series.

On Thursday, hit the Reed Space to scoop a pair because they will be exclusively available there.
