In mid-January, we noticed Golden State Warriors guard Anthony Morrow sporting the Nike Air Penny III in which many of you claim is a great basketball sneaker. Now, we have spotted another Penny signature sneaker on the NBA courts. With that said, check out today’s Kicks On Court to see yet another Penny sneaker on court.

In a loss against the Kobe-less Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs forward Dejuan Blair laced up the “Triple Black” colorway of the highly-favored Nike Air Penny II. If you recall, Nike “Triple Blacked” a few sneakers last year including the Air Force 180, the Air Griffey Max1, the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III and this Air Penny II. Yesterday, the Saints won the first Super Bowl in their franchise’s history. While New Orleans fans have long been some of the most faithful of any, “Who Dat?” is now at the largest it’s ever been.

Over the past couple of years, Foamposite-filled sneakers have made a big impact in the sneaker industry to say the least. Sneakers such as the “Eggplant” Nike Air Foampsite One, the Nike 1/2 Cent and the Nike Foamposite Lite “Kryptonate” have garnered an abundance of attention. In addition, this year’s “Copper” Nike Air Foamposite One may be the most highly-anticipated sneaker of 2010 so far.

Peep this Air Max LeBron VII that Nike cooked up for the University of Akron, LeBron’s could-have-been alma mater. The shoe dons a navy blue patent leather rand, gold flywire, and a white swoosh and midsole. On the medial heel, you can find the University of Akron insignia, an “A” and a Zip, the school’s mascot.

These kicks cost a pretty penny but they are available at marquee sole. Flip the post for more pictures.

At first glance you might confuse these with the signature shoes LeBron wore en route to beating the Lakers last night. While the colorway is somewhat similar, these Nike Air Max LeBron VIIs are actually the latest Christ The King PEs from LBJ’s shoe line.

We saw a Zoom Soldier 3 use this colorway most recently. Maroon is used on the entire uppe,r including the Flywire-infused mid-panel.Gold threading in that Flywire matches with the top double-eyelet, LBJ23 logo near the heel and Swoosh surround. White is used on the mudguard, outsole and Swoosh, finishing the colorway. Finishing the PE itself though is the “Christ The King” label on the inner heel area where the LBJ23 logo is usually used.

What’s with the re-emergence of the Air Jordan 12 Retro? Since 2010 began, we have seen some very nice Air Jordan 12 PEs from players such as Ray Allen, Gerald Wallace, DJ Augustin and Joe Johnson. In addition, Dwyane Wade sported a new Air Jordan 12 that is very similar to the one most of you purchased last month. With that said, check out today’s Kicks On Court to see these new PEs.

Dwyane Wade led the Miami Heat with 32 points while wearing a predominately white/red Air Jordan 12. At a first glance, these PEs look exactly like the Air Jordan 12 White/Red that released in mid-December; however, if you look a little closer, you will see that Wade’s PE contains a gold Jumpman tab below the side panel. It also seems to own a gold Jumpman logo on the tongue; both of these gold hints coincide perfectly with the Hear jerseys. Would you rather have these than the original Air Jordan 12 White/Red?
