In a loss against the Denver Nuggets, Kobe Bryant brought out the “Bruce Lee” Nike Zoom Kobe V for the first time this season. As mentioned in our previous post about this particular sneaker, it was created specifically for Kobe’s love for Kung Fu. The predominately yellow upper is reminiscent to the body suit Bruce Lee wore in “The Game of Death”. It also possesses four scratch marks on the side in representation of the scratches Bruce Lee took while fighting in “Enter the Dragon.” Is this the best Kobe V colorway to date? Kobe Bryant has accomplished many things his career, and our staff tends to associate a player’s accomplishments with what sneaker he was wearing at the time. For example, Kobe Bryant won his fourth championship in the Nike Zoom Kobe IV. Last night, he accomplished another unforgettable feat; this time, he laced up his fifth signature sneaker, the Nike Zoom Kobe V.

Last night, Kobe Bryant became the all-time scoring leader in Los Angeles Lakers history while wearing the ever-so-popular Kobe V. He led the Lakers with 44 points in a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies last night. It seems Kobe’s fourth and fifth signature sneakers have brought him great times. Brandon Jennings’s Under Armour Prototype PEs have been nothing less than amazing this NBA season. It is easily one of the more sought-after basketball sneakers that cannot be attained by the average sneaker consumer right now. Supposedly, we will have to wait until next basketball season to purchase this sneaker. Meanwhile, check out today’s Kicks On Court to see Jennings’s new Under Armour Prototype colorway.

In a win against the Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings scored 18 points while wearing a white/green colorway of the Under Armour Prototype. The predominance of the sneaker is done up in white leather and owns a green patent leather strip that surrounds the entire silhouette. We have now seen Jennings sport at least five colorways of this newly-designed basketball sneaker. Is this the best colorway yet? In a losing effort against the Philadelphia 76ers, Chris Paul sported the “Mardi Gras” colorway of the Jordan CP3.III. This particular pair features a similar color scheme to the original colorway; however it adds a purple speckled midsole in place of the black one.
