Making his fourth NBA All-Star appearance this year, Steph Curry will lace up a New Orleans inspired pair of the Curry 3 while three low-cut iterations of the shoe will also release in accordance with the festivities in the Crescent City.
On All-Star Sunday Curry will step onto the court as a started for the Western Conference in the Under Armour Curry 3 “Brass Band,” an ode to the games host city and its historic music scene. The many horns one could hear blaring through New Orleans’ French Quarter is largely based in individual expression, improvisation and creativity – all traits that mirror Curry’s game.
Moreover, the Curry “Power of 3” Lows express a unique sentiment detailing Steph’s past and present. The “122” details his record breaking final season at Davidson college when he hit 122 three pointers; the “Dark Horse” closes in on the tradition of Steph playing games of H-O-R-S-E with his father, Dell Curry; the “Full Circle” highlights Steph’s first All-Star appearance in New Orleans four years ago, now returning this year again as a starter with Two MVP trophies and a NBA championship.
The Under Amour Curry 3 “Power of 3” Lows each retail for $120 and will release on February 16 at UA Brand Houses and Champs The Armoury locations. The Under Armour Curry 3 “Brass Band” will retail for $150 and release on February 17 also at UA as well as Champs, Foot Locker, Finish Line and Eastbay.
