Since signing a monster deal with adidas earlier this fall, James Harden has been featured in national TV campaigns, on the brand’s social media channels and has been playing in a steady flow of custom player exclusive colorways as the headliner of the new Crazylight Boost 2015.
As the calendar turns to a new year, Harden is once again leading the franchise’s second half silhouette for the season — the new Crazylight Boost 2.5.
Styled in a clean white and red, this home-based Rockets colorway made for James also debuts the first custom icon of his on a sneaker, with a merged “13” also forming a capital H atop the tongue. The branding itself is incredibly subtle, as Three Stripes are visible on the lateral side underneath the grid mesh overlay.
With a gradient woven Primeknit upper through the collar, the 2.5 features a more asymmetrical upper and a veering toe cap than the initial Crazylight Boost design, while incorporating the same Boost-packed midsole and outsole.
Check out James’ exact size 14 pair ahead in detail, that he also wore last night for a wild 33 point, 17 rebound and 14 assist stat line, and let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
