High Snobiety has paired with footwear designer Ronnie Fieg to design these Asics Gel Lyte IIIs, completing the “Trilogy Project,” from which we’ve already seen the Nice Kicks and Culture Shoq collaborations. We already gave you a preview not too long ago, but now that we get a detailed look, you can make up your mind for good.

The grey patent leather is the first element you notice, as it wraps around the entire shoe, including the toe cap, heel and mid-panel logo areas. Navy blue is used as an accent along the midsole, matching the perforated suede used throughout the upper. Finally, the liner, and “tongue” flaps are done in a salmon hue, setting off the grey and blue. Three color laces, a selling point for many on previous collaborations, are used again here for good measure.

When the Yankees wrapped up their 27th World Series, A-Rod got himself a ring, Joe Girardi got the doubters off his case, and New York placed themselves back on top yet again.

Given the sheer size of Yankee Nation, there are a lot of feet that need to be dressed in Yankee blue. And since the parades and celebrations will carry on all weekend and then some, you’re going to need a fresh pair of kicks to match that Champions shirt. That being said, we’ve assembled this list of 27 sneakers in navy, grey and white to help you show your die-hard fanhood, or to match that fitted you bought online midway through game six.

From what we can see, Ronnie Fieg, who was involved in the entire trilogy design process, used a healthy dose of patent leather on the toe cap and for the eyestays. Navy perforated suede is used for the topside of the toe section, much like on our own version. The laces use two colors, mixing silver and blue. It looks like the navy suede continues along the side as well, filling the panel behind the Asics arches logo.

Though color choice was important for us, the material selections took a very high priority.  From front the back, the shoe features a nubuck toe cap, perforated pig skin toe box and side panels, patent leather striped overlaying 3M reflective material, finishing off with ballistic mesh on the tongue and ankle collar.
