Nike and Scottie Pippen’s Air Pippen 1, from 1997, remains one of the most sartorially pleasing and performance savvy releases of its time. Pippen was graceful in the shoe in the prime of his Hall of Fame career and its relenting ’90s aesthetic still plays well today.
This “Vast Grey” edition is far removed from any of the colorways of the ’90s but certainly ripe for modern-day. Laced in a black base with grey underlays woven through the grooves on the paneling, a Sail a colored midsole holds up the coveted model in suede and mesh fabrication.
