More than a decade after the original Nike Foamposite One released, Nike reworks the ultimate court shoe with some performance upgrades while keeping the integrity of the original shoe in tact creating the Nike Foamposite Lite.?? Nike Foamposite is a synthetic foam that molds to one’s foot giving the wearer a truly custom fit.?? The one problem with this synthetic is that it is relatively heavy – especially when the entire upper is composed of this material.?? The Foamposite Lite utilizes the same material as the original, but it is just 5mm thick cutting out a tremendous amount of weight.?? Like with the original, the shoes feature a very comfortable and responsive Zoom Air cushioning system throughout the shoe.
The Nike Foamposite Lite was the shoe worn by 2009 NBA Slam Dunk Champion Nate Robinson when he jumped over the 2008 winner wearing a “Krypto-Nate” version of the Nike Foamposite Lite.
