It’s good to be a Yankee. Coming of the franchise’s 27th World Series championships, Nike has already dedicated a Trainer 1 to the legacy of the team, which we saw in detail here. That wasn’t enough for Chien-Ming Wang though, as the Taiwanese pitcher has received his own PE different from the team’s.

Unlike the team PE, these feature a white and silver upper, with pinstripes on the heel panel. The forefoot lace loops use non-Yankee colors, appearing in royal blue, yellow and red. On the heel panel, where the Trainer 1 usually reads “Nike,” and the Yankee PE displayed “New York,” a Taiwanese character has been created out of a mid-pitch silhouette of Wang.

This Nike Air Force 1 may look familiar seeing that we featured a varsity red/white Air Force 1 in our last installment of Air Force Friday. However, Nike is set to release this new Air Force 1 this upcoming holiday season.

This Air Force 1 contains a 100% red premium leather base combined with light bone-colored accents in the form of the shoelaces and inner lining. It is also finished with e light bone-colored midsole and a red outsole. This shoe also contains some very distinctive details that more than likely coincide with the holiday season. For example, the Nike tongue logo and the inner lining features what seems to be falling snow, while the lacetips feature little stars. The Vans Chukka Low “Land & Sea” have recently started hitting retailers, and it looks like they’re not alone. 4 new colorways are out now at select stores for the Holiday season, including HUF.

Grey, black, pumpkin orange and denim blue are all dropping with this release. All four use a white vulcanized sole and laces, with suede and canvas uppers. The black pair separates itself slightly by using yellow contrast stitching on the heel panel and side label.

Star Wars has been a popular theme on sneakers for a very long time. We even showed you the History of Star Wars Sneakers on the unofficial Star Wars Day (May 4th). Adidas looks to add to the aforementioned list by introducing an Originals Star Wars Collection.

This particular Stars Wars inspired collection is slightly different from the rest in that the sneakers are inspired by specific characters and/or scenes in the movie. Adidas chose to use some of its classic Originals models and also incorporated apparel in this collection. Look for this collection to hit select retailers in January 2010. The Air Jordan “Motorsports” 6 has been a big topic of discussion since we first saw a sneak of it way back in March. More recently we discovered that not only was the Jordan Motorsports crew blessed with the Retro 6, but also a pair of similar of 6 Rings, which we’ve now seen in detail. And while you’ll likely never get your hands on a pair of these AJ6s, we do have some detailed shots for you.

As you can see, the midsole and outsole are both black, with a semi-translucent black on the latter. Black and white is obviously the theme for these, matching the motorcycle seen with the above 6 Rings. The only colors seen on these outside of those two are the red and gold letters on the tongue. Alas, these may be out of reach, but with 2010 promising a number 6 retros, including these in white and black, hopefully your thirst will be quenched.

Starks, a prominent shoelace maker, is expanding their operations with their first footwear collaboration. Both Starks and Timberland created some positive synergy and it is evidenced in the dynamic material contrasts of their Classic 3-Eye Handsewn Shoe. The primary materials covering the upper are corduroy and leather. Other details within the shoe include avian images that are embossed onto the leather of the insoles.

For the moment we only have a few teaser photos of the collaboration but keep with us and you’ll soon see the entire shoe. If the macro shots satisfy your soul then keep your eyes on the Starks web store as it will have them for sale in early December.

We have previously showed you the Nike Canarinho Collection and now we have another look at the shoe group. The pack exhibits three of the Swoosh’s silhouettes: the Dunk Low, the Blazer Metro Low, and the Tennis Classic. This sneaker smattering is named after the Brazilian National Soccer Team and this motif extends past the name and onto the façades of the shoes.

This collection is limited to a Brazilian release. But, as you can see from the pictures, the shoes are now in stores so you might have some luck in procuring a pair. Also, more of the collection, such as a women’s make-up of Tennis Classics, is expected to trickle to retailers within the following days. Hit the jump to see the aforementioned kicks.
