“Dice K” Matsuzaka 1World Air Force Ones

Dice K Matsuzaka 1World Air Force OnesAt the start of this year a limited number of the “Dragon” Air Force Ones were released in Asia. Whether or not those were intended to release, the same shoes will be included in the 1World Air Force 1 campaign.

The Air Force One’s are designed by Japanese born Daisuke “Dice K” Matsuzaka who pitches for the Boston Red Sox. The upper features a pallet of exotic materials including pony hair, scaled “dragon skin” leather, and textured patent leather. At the heel of the shoe is a dragon logo that forms the number “18″ - the number on the back of his Boston jersey. No word yet on availability, but we will keep you in the loop.

LaDainian Tomlinson Air Force Ones 1World

LaDainian Tomlinson 1World Air Force OnesSome folks from NY get a little testy when people refer to LaDainian as “LT”, but his initials make up his lightning bolt logo that hits the back of his 1World Air Force Ones. Some of you may remember that former MVP running back LaDainian had something special cooked up for him in the Innovation Kitchen, but he worked up something himself for the Nike 1World campaign.

LaDainian kept it simple with a white croc upper with accents of “Chargers” pale blue. These 1World Air Force Ones will release at select spots next month for $250. Check the pics of the kicks after the jump sent in by Complex.

?uest Love Air Force Ones (again)

?uest Love Air Force OnesThe ?uest Love Air Force One was the first of the 1World Air Force Ones to be widely available at multiple locations. First released at Alife in NYC and UBIQ, people lined up for days to get a piece of something special, but for those who spent all the time waiting in line only to resell, the joke has really been on them. Immediately after the release, ?uest Love Air Force Ones were receiving very high prices, but as more and more stores received deliveries, the price began to fall. Call it poetic justice or just irony. All in all, I suppose the moral of the story is wait in line for a shoe that you truly want, not just to try to make a buck or two.

This weekend the ?uest Love Air Force 1 will be making an encore appearance at multiple locations across the country including Proper in Long Beach, CA and Politics Lafayette, LA just to name a few.

?uest Love’s “Air Questo” Air Force 1

Quest Love Air Questo Air Force Ones 1World1WORLD is a collection of Air Force One, created in partnership with global innovators in the fields of sport, music, art & design. Featuring 18 original styles, the collection will be released over the course of eight months and will see the Air Force 1 once again exploring new territory.

In August 2008, Nike Sportswear will release the Air Force 1 “Air Questo,” created for 1WORLD in partnership with Philadelphia’s Ahmir Thompson, also known as drummer, DJ, producer and innovator, ?uest Love

“These Air Questo’s right here are an extension of my personality. Kind of all-over-the-place” said ?uest Love. “I just wanted to start off with a very loud statement, a sneaker that sort of has 12 exclamation points behind it. Something that just screams “Rahhhhrr” so you know, this is an extension of my personality. The inside (of the shoe) is of me drumming. Yeah, inside art is very important to me. Even though you’re the only person that sees it from a consumer standpoint but, I sorta know you put a lot of work into it as a designer based on how your shoe is designed on the sole.”

“Working with ?uest was very inspiring” said Nike Sportswear Design Director, Jesse Leyva. “The creative process between sneaker design and his music creativity really made for a unique partnership.”

?uest Love’s Air Questo is the third Air Force 1 created in the US for 1WORLD, and joins Detroit forward Rasheed Wallace and artist KAWS as having had the chance to “get up on the AF1” as part of the 1WORLD collection.

The Air Force 1 “Air Questo,” created for 1WORLD in partnership with Philadelphia’s ?uest Love will release at:

Alife—New York (August 1st)
Ubiq—Philadelphia (August 5th)
Nike Sportswear at The Montalban—Los Angeles (August 6th)
as well as additional select Nike retailers on August 16th
