 Although, we left the Nike Air Penny 3 off of our Sneakers to Look for in ‘09, it still has been one of the most highly anticipated retro releases this year. Penny’s third installment of his signature sneaker line is now making its way back to certain Nike retailers for $155, namely RPS.

 You are probably asking yourself, what is this? Don’t worry, I did the same thing. This is supposedly an Air Jordan 3 and 5 hybrid. This UFO’s upper is reminiscent of the Air Jordan 5, while the Air Jordan 3 characteristics appear blatantly on the sole; however, it seems to take the woven texture on the side panels from the Air Jordan 15 as well. 3 x 5 is 15.  Do you remember Grand Ma-Ma and Alonzo in those pin-stripe clown suits? Well, if these kicks don’t bring back memories I don’t know what will! Nike has been pumping out Air Force One’s at an unbelievable rate, and we’ve even seen a rare sighting of the Air Force Two’s lately. However, we’ve came across an endangered species: the Nike Air Force 3.
A House of Hoops special edition, the Air Force 3 Charlotte Hornets Edition, contain a white upper with electric blue and purple accents. Reminiscent to the ancient Charlotte Hornets’ jerseys, these sneakers are lined with pinstripes and also include 3M reflective material. They made a debut this past weekend at HOH, so if you want them get there as soon as possible. Do you want to see more Air Force 3’s in the future?  King James and Nike plan to drop 2 colorways of the Nike Zoom Soldier 3 during Summer 2009. Nike continues to back Lebron by dropping so many different styles of his shoe. Nike sure seems to be fulfilling every dollar of that $90 million contract they agreed upon. The Zoom Soldier, Lebron’s 2008 playoff sneaker, is the third installment of this model. The Zoom Soldier 3 possesses a strap on the front of the shoe, a throwback feature, first seen on the Nike Zoom LeBron 20-5-5. The sneaker is very reminiscent of the Nike Zoom LeBron 20-5-5 and also embellishes some characteristics of the Zoom LeBron III. Two colorways, Black/White/Red and White/Navy, have been released on the internet so far. These kicks will retail for $110, as did the Zoom Soldier 2.  Lebron has been doing some pretty amazing stuff in his summer shoes lately. The first Zoom soldier took Lebron to the finals, the second incarnation he cut and slammed his way into a gold medal. Now the third installment of what the Zoom Soldier has become for Lebron a ritual every summer is here. The straps have made a comeback on the shoe and will of course will have the usual zoom air to give us that reponsive kick back on our heels.
