3M reflective material is also used throughout, including areas on the tongue and heel. This is by no means the first time we’ve seen 3M on a Jordan retro. Surely you recall the AJ5 “Toro Bravo” Pack, which featured an entirely reflective pair, as well as a tongue on the other pair. For this Retro 2, white leather is used for the remainder of the upper, with perforated holes making a stripe along the forefoot.

These are expected in 2010, along with a number of other Jordan Retros. Are you planning to grab a pair?

Rarely do we ever see the Air Jordan 2 whether it is releasing or just surfacing on the web. Specifically, it released last year in its respective Countdown Pack and we saw PEs from players such as Ray Allen, Josh Howard and Gerald Wallace in our Kicks On Court. However, we have now received word that an Air Jordan 2 Retro is set to release in 2010.

Obviously, judging by the colorway, MJ himself never wore this particular sneaker. It contains a predominately white leather base with multiple neutral grey and metallic silver accents throughout the upper. The latter accents also possess 3M material giving the shoe a unique, reflective look. Supposedly, this shoe will be part of a collection dubbed the History of Flight for next year. The Air Jordan 2 “The Way I Am” features Black/Grey-Red colorway leather upper. It is smothered in scripted Eminem lyrics on the side panels, toe area, and insoles. Two other Eminem inspirations are seen on the sneaker in the form of the letter ‘E’ on the tongue and the number ‘313′ on the heel. This number represents Detroit, MI (Eminem’s hometown).

Supposedly, this Air Jordan Retro 2 is expected to release at Flight Club on December 18th, 2008 for $110. As we stated earlier, only 313 pair will be releasing (also representing Detroit’s area code). The Marshall Mather’s Foundation, Eminem’s charity organization, will receive the proceeds from the sales of this sneaker. More detailed pics after the jump. Via NT.

The Air Jordan 2 has been worn many times throughout the preseason by players such as Ray Allen and Mike Bibby (two times). Considering Richard Hamilton played with Jordan when he made his 2nd comeback for the Wizards, Hamilton should have the best PEs (besides Ray Allen)!
