Air Jordan 20 Fusion - Midnight Navy/White-Silver & White/Black-Varsity Red

Air Jordan 20 Fusion

As we inch closer and closer to the release date of the Air Jordan Fusion 20, new pics have surfaced on the web. On November, 28th, 2008, Jordan Brand will be releasing this hybrid in two colorways: Midnight Navy/White-Silver and White/Black-Varsity Red.

Although not as unique as the Marcus Jordan PE we showed you last month, this Fusion owns a few interesting features itself. Reminiscent to the Air Jordan 20, they feature a laser print velcro strap over the top of the shoe. The rear of the sneaker is also Air Jordan 20-inspired. The Nike Air Force 1 inspiration is noticeable on the midsole; however, it also features the classic Air Force 1 ankle strap.

Air Jordan 20 Fusion White/Gold Available Now

Air Jordan 20 Fusion Available NowAs Jordan Brand continues to ‘Fuse‘ everything it gets its hands on, we wonder if they worry about the appearance of the sneaker anymore. Two months ago we presented this Air Jordan 20 Fusion White/Gold to you and 99.999% of you were disgusted with this design! Well, to make to matters worse (or better.. if you like them), we have spotted this fusion at Concepts.

The Air Jordan 20 Fusion contains a white leather upper with brown laser print on the side panels. It seems as if JB was influenced by a Louis Vuitton Damier bag when designing the midsole. Nevertheless, if that does not throw you off, you may want to restain from the mustard yellow accents that are visible on the midsole and heel! Can we say Bad or Fugly?

St Alfreds x Kane 23 Reasons Project

St Alfreds x Kane 23 Reasons ProjectWith the Air Jordan III/XX Countdown Pack only days away, St. Alfred’s has teamed up with Kane for the first installment of his 23 Reasons project.

This incredible mural project commemorates the achievements of Jordan’s career, along with the shoes we all have come to know and love. Also featured on the mural is “Follow The Leader”, a tribute to the Eric B and Rakim album that also dropped in the year of 1988.

If you are in Chicago, and want to pick up the Countdown Pack at St Alfred’s, you’ll have something nice to look at as you wait for the doors to open, at noon, for this highly anticipated Air Jordan release.

Air Jordan 20 Fusion Black

Air Jordan 20 Fusion BlackThe last pair of Air Jordan 20 Fusion’s we showed you were so atrocious that I started not to post these; however, the release is close. This Saturday, October 11th, JB will be releasing this colorway along with a White/Metallic Silver-Varsity Red and White/Metallic Silver-Midnight Navy colorway.
Also called the Air Force One Fusion, these kicks will supposedly be available in high top as well.

The Air Jordan Fusion is not as bad as some of the recent JB projects we have seen recently. Nonetheless, not my type! View detailed pictures of this colorway after the jump provided by Kicks On Fire.

Air Jordan 20 from Coutdown Pack

Air Jordan 20 Black Regional CDP Countdown PackWhile many heads have been looking forward to the October Countdown Pack featuring the Black/Cement Air Jordan III, don’t count on many people lining up for its other half. Some have complained about lopsided packs from the beginning, but pairing two shoes and balancing them equally is a bit of a challenge if you ask me. This Jordan CDP has a bit of an interesting side story to it being that the Jordan 3 was Tinker’s first Air Jordan and the Jordan 20 was his first since “retiring” after the Jordan 15.

The Jordan 20 that was called upon for the package is not exactly receiving as much love as it probably could have. A bit of a shock, Jordan Brand decided to call up the “regional” Air Jordan 20 and entirely black out the shoe. The regional Jordan 20s were far from being as popular to the other 20s in the line. One could find many of them hanging out at the outlets well after the Jordan 21 had released.

Rarely do I inject personal opinion into my writing, (what you choose to wear is up to you!) but to hold silent about this is too hard. In a year that we are supposed to “Countdown” the Jordan shoes in what many thought would be a year of “greatest hits”, the trend seems to be that a package consists of one chart topper, and one ringtone rap classic. If a “regional” Air Jordan can make it into a CDP, what else can we pray we won’t see? Jordan 11 low LE? Jordan 15 Moc? Jordan 22 PE? Pics from KidKrazy007 at NikeTalk.
