Air Jordan “Motorsports” Pack

Air Jordan Motorsports Pack

If you recall, we informed you of an upcoming Air Jordan “Motorsports” back in March and many of you stated that you were really looking forward to it releasing. As months went by, it became evident that this pack would not release. However, we now have detailed photos of this pack that will never release (this will probably aggravate you).

This “Motorsports” Pack consists of a Jordan 6 Rings and an Air Jordan 6 Retro. To coincide with bike’s new paint job, Jordan Brand designed both models in a simple yet stylish white/black color scheme. The Air Jordan 6 Retro was shown to you back in March, yet, the 6 Rings was kept under wraps. Both pairs were given to MJ’s Motorsports team and some of his close friends. If this pack were to ever surface, would this be a definite purchase for you? Click here to view detailed photos.

Throwback Thursday: Nike Air Jordan VI “Sport Blue”

Nike Air Jordan VI Sport BlueA couple colorways of the Air Jordan 6 are slated to return in 2010; however, some of our favorites still appear to remain in the vault for now.  Definitely not nearly as popular as either of the infrared colorways, the “Sport Blue” Air Jordan VI is still actively sought after by many original Jordan collectors.

Jordan Brand gave us a little taste of blue VIs in 2000 when the shoe released in White/Midnight Navy, but I am pretty sure that after almost 19 years this one is ready for return?

If JB brought back the Sport Blue Jordan VI would they be a purchase or pass?  Leave your thoughts after the break.

Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Red-Blue

Air Jordan 6

The Air Jordan 6 Retro seems to be the focal point of JB’s 2010 releases seeing that we have already been notified of the Black/Red and the White/Infrared dropping next year. In addition to those highly anticipated releases, Jordan Brand will also unleash this Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Red-Blue next year. However, we have now spotted various sizes on OSneaker for a very hefty price.

Similar to the aforementioned black/red colorway, this sneaker features a predominately black nubuck/patent leather upper with grey and blue accents in the form of the tongue and heel tab. As a finishing feature, this Air Jordan 6 also possesses colors such as grey, blue and red on the sole. What are your thoughts on this colorway? Click here to voice your opinion.

Jordan Spizike + Air Jordan VI Retro Sneak Peek

Alife Rivington Club x New Balance 1300

Recently, we gave you preliminary photos of 2010 Jordan releases including the Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Red and the Air Jordan 2010. In the same manner, we have spotted visibly-challenged photos of two more major, future Jordan releases on the web.

Many of you will be happy to know that the Jordan Spizike “Grape” and the Air Jordan 6 Retro White/Infrared will more than likely unleash some time in 2010. If you recall, the latter sneaker first released during the 1990-91 NBA season; MJ won his first ring in the Air Jordan 6. On the contrary, this will be the first time this particular Jordan Spizike releases. What are your thoughts on these future releases? Click here to voice your opinion.

Air Jordan VI x Nike Air Yeezy for Doernbecher Auction

Nike Air Yeezy

Obviously, the Nike Air Yeezy was one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2009. Likewise, the Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Red will be one of the highly anticipated releases of 2010. However, as a Doernbecher auction, Mark Smtih and his team withing the Nike’s Innovation Kitchen, has fused both models to form this one-of-a-kind sneaker. This unique shoe is available on eBay in a size 12.

This sneaker simply owns the Nike Air Yeezy base combined with the Air Jordan VI sole. The upper also features multiple textures on the upper including leather, suede and patent leather (strap). This pairing raises a lot of questions. Does the Air Yeezy look better with the Air Jordan VI sole or do you prefer the original way it looks? Should Nike start fusing more classic sneakers together? As stated earlier, you can place your bid on eBay now; however, expect to pay a heft price as the bid is now at $5000!

Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Red Detailed Images

Air Jordan 6 Black/Varsity Red

In the past month, we have given you detailed shots of the soon-to-be-released highly anticipated Jordan drops including the “Space Jam”, the “Flu Game” and the Air Jordan 12 White/Red. In addition, we now have in-depth images of the 2010 release Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Red.

If you recall, Michael Jordan sported this sneaker while winning his first of six championships. With that said, this classic sneaker first hit retailers during the 1990-91 NBA season. However, this retro seems to feature a couple of different attributes from the OG version. For example, the infrared accents that were seen on the OG version have been swapped out for varsity red. Furthermore, the predominately black base seems to be made of suede rather than nubuck. Although this shoe officially releases at the top of 2010, you can purchase it now for a heftier price at VMVinc. Click here to view detailed photos.
