It was about this time 10 years ago that the Black/Red Air Jordan 4 retro released forever changing the Jordan Brand franchise that was only 2 years old at the time.  Now a decade later the timeless sneaker has underwent some retooling coming out as the Air Jordan Fusion 4.

Love or hate the Fusion concept, it is here to stay for several more months, but if you have had some angst for the Air Jordan 4 being “fused”, celebrate that this colorway will be the last to release when it officially drops on August 29th for $145.

At the end of July, we informed you of two Air Jordan Fusion 4 colorways (including this one) that were available at Nike’s online store. Now, we have received word that this Air Jordan Fusion 4 Varsity Red is available at the House of Hoops Cherry Hill location.

This particular Air Jordan Fusion 4 colorway was considered the best of the Fusion 4’s by many of you. It features a predominately varsity red upper with minimal cement details on the laceholders, heel panel and midsole. Although we just stated it is now available at the House of Hoops Cherry Hill location, check your local House of Hoops location for this Air Jordan Fusion 4 Varsity Red. We got a sneak peek at the Varsity Red and Cement colorway of the Air Jordan Fusion 4 not too long ago. The colorway was well received, although as with many Jordan purists, there were those that just won’t support any Fusions.

The Air Jordan Fusion 4 Cement Pack has arrived at Nike and includes the aforementioned Varsity Red/Cement colorway, as well as an unseen Varsity Royal/Cement combination. The Varsity Royal colorway is very reminiscent of the notorious Eminem 4’s, of course, with some various Fusion features added in to the mix. Overall the combination is on point in both colorways, and you can pick them up now for $160.

A lot of sneaker enthusiasts have dubbed the Air Jordan Fusion 4, the best Jordan fusion model yet. Better yet, this shoe has surprisingly been a 2009 favorite amongst many of you. Following the Air Jordan Fusion 4 “Fire Red”, which released yesterday, Jordan Brand will unleash three more Fusion 4 colorways.

The three upcoming Fusion 4 colorways are inspired by the Air Jordan IV “Military”, the Air Jordan IV “Bred” and the Air Jordan IV “Cement”.
