The latest fusion has hit the web, this time Jordan chooses to step it up to a Premier edition.

The Air Jordan Fusion 9 Premier is made up of a mostly black upper with Light Olive accents and of course hints of red on the Jordan Logos and tongue. Personally, I haven’t been much of a fan of the Fusion line, however, with the contrast between the shiny black midsole and the soft brown suede actually has me taking a second look at these.

The first colorway of the Air Jordan Fusion 9 Low is set to drop on May 30th, 2009. When we first showed you this sneaker, many of you surprisingly liked this shoe a lot. With that said, we now have photos of another colorway set to drop later this year.

It features a mainly white leather upper with contrasting navy blue details throughout the base. Similar to the first release of the Air Jordan Fusion 9 Low, this colorway also features the patent leather midsole. To finish it off, this shoe is complimented with a white outsole. We recently saw the first low top version of the Air Jordan Fusion 9, and now we’ve got word that these “Olive” editions will release on May 30th.

We know plenty of you slept on the retro of the Olive AJ9 that dropped back in 2002, so this Air Jordan Fusion 9 “Olive” should be a welcome addition for many. The price of playing catch-up is steep though, these kicks will release as a Quickstrike, so you’ll be looking at a $175 price tag.

Are these worth the high price tag?

The Air Jordan Fusion 9 is arguably the best looking Fusion sneaker from Jordan Brand. Probably due to the fact that it uses a combination of the Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 9 midsole, overall making it appear more like the latter. The latest makeup is the first in the low top form.

The Air Jordan Fusion 9 Low will be dropping May 30th and be priced at $135. The combo of Black, Varsity Red, and White is definitely classic. The shine of the midsole also pairs well with the faint speckled lower panel on the uppers. This will also be a nice parting gift for you Bulls fans that have to watch your team finally get knocked out of the first round on Saturday.

Is the Fusion 9 the best of the Fusion line-up?

We’ve seen a number of colorways of the Air Jordan Fusion 9 so far. One of the OG colorways that will be making a return on May 9th in the form of the Fusion 9 is this Black and Varsity Red colorup.

As with all Fusion releases, the Air Jordan Fusion 9 as been met with mixed reviews. This particular colorway is a memorable one for me, as these were the first OG Jordans I was able to pick up as a kid. The colorway is a definite winner, as for the Fusion series, its growing on me, but I still would rather have my classic Jordans.

The Air Jordan Fusion 9 White/Black-University Blue will officially hit retailers this weekend (April 11th, 2009); however, photos of a new Air Jordan Fusion 9 colorway have now surfaced on the web.

Inspired by the classic OG Air Jordan IX, this sneaker features a predominately white upper with a solid black midsole. Other black accents appear on the shoelaces, tongue and ankle area. In addition, this sneaker also possesses minimal red accents on the tongue and heel Jordan logos. To finish it off, it is also complimented with a white outsole. Supposedly, the Air Jordan Fusion 9 White/Varsity Red-Black will hit retailers on June 6th, 2009. Is this the best colorway so far?

Inspired by the classic Air Jordan IX “Powder Blue”, It features a predominately white upper with a solid powder blue midsole. Other powder blue accents appear on the lacetag and Jordan logo on the black tongue. In addition, the shoelaces are also colored in black, while the shoe itself is complimented with a white outsole.
