The Raiders inspired Air Trainer II Tecmo Bo colorway surfaced last month, and was followed by a baseball version of “Tecmo Bo” applied to the Blazer silhouette.

The Nike Air Trainer II Tecmo Bo Jackson pays tribute to Bo Jackson’s time with the Raiders. Not only was Bo dominate on the field, the pixelated version you see on the tongue, was dominate in the classic Tecmo Bowl video games of the same era. Look for these to hit retailers in the near future.

Conceptually this is an instant classic, as for execution what do you think?

Nike Training became a household name in the early 90’s, in large part due to superstar athlete Bo Jackson. Bo made a name as one of the first athletes to play two professional sports and be very successful at both. We recently saw the Trainer SC done up in Raiders silver and black colors, as well as the Legacy Pack drop which really kicked off the rebirth of Nike Training.

The Nike Air Trainer II Bo Jackson is highlighted by a “Tecmo Bo” on the tongue, appropriate, because not only was Bo dominate on the field, he was nearly unstoppable in the video game. These kicks should definitely bring back some memories on their way into your collection.
