Crooked Tongues adidas ZX 9000

Crooked Tongues adidas ZX 9000

Adidas has much in store for us over the next few months with the aZX Project. The ZX classics have been interpretted by a powerful punch of 24 influencers including many shops from around the globe, but one of the shoes retooled was done by a name not affixed to a brick and mortar store - Crooked Tongues.

Very much an authority in the sneaker world, Crooked Tongues was called upon to interpret the ZX 9000 how they see fit. The shoe features a mix of charcoal, light grey, and yellow across the shoe, but the most noticeable touch is the carbon fiber look on the rear TPU. The Crooked Tongues adidas ZX 9000 will release in the third set of the aZX series on October 8th. Photos thanks to spiritfingers from CrookedTongues.

adidas aZX Wood Wood & Undefeated

Adidas aZX ZX 8000 ZX 9000 Wood Wood UndefeatedOver the weekend the first installment of the aZX series released, but now thanks to h(y)r collective we have something to look forward to at the end of the campaign. The adidas ZX 8000 and ZX 9000 are two silhouettes that are hard to ruin, but the works of Wood Wood and Undefeated are some of the best to date.

Undefeated went to work on the ZX 8000 with a solid red upper with a little added color of olive green on the laces of the shoes. Wood Wood, a Danish based boutique, went back to basics with grey and red on the ZX 9000 that rarely is seen. Stay tuned for more photos of the adidas aZX series. Info from Hype Beast.

Goodfoot adidas ZX 8000

Goodfoot adidas ZX 8000The first eight shoes from the aZX Project released today and included in the lineup are the green Goodfoot adidas ZX 8000. Don’t mistake the colorway of this shoe to be something to hook with Celtics gear, Goodfoot made green the theme of this shoe.

The Goodfoot adidas ZX 8000 is made from sustainable and recyclable materials. To tell the story of the mission, Goodfoot printed the details of this in a booklet to compliment the shoes - made of 100% recycled paper of course. Lastly, Matt George and Goodfoot crew put together some accessories that tell the story of sustainability. A hemp bag made entirely from Canadian hemp provides one with an alternative to carrying their shoes around in a plastic bag and can be reused as a grocery bag. A five-panel hat was also made which is a style commonly worn by cyclists (hint, pedal to Goodfoot, leave the SUV at home). All green ink on the bag and hat are made from a chemical free, soy base.
