Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by Eric Villatoro

Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by Eric Villatoro

Nike fan Eric Villatoro worked the with folks at 21 Mercer to design this very purple Bespoke Air Force 1, mixing a handful of the numerous offered materials for a very eccentric look. From suede to croc, this Bespoke has it all.

It’s a good thing that Eric mixed his materials so much, as we saw another purple Bespoke in purple not too long ago. These change the look pretty dramatically though, as the deep purple croc on the forefoot area contrasts great against the suede used on the remainder. The real contrast comes in the white and purple Safar print used on both the Swoosh and tongue. A clear MX sole with red air bubble finished these off nicely. What would your Bespoke look like?

Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 by Motonari Mikiya

Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by Motonari MikiyaMotonari Mikiya took a page out of the LIVESTRONG book it seems, as he had the team at 21 Mercer help him piece together these black and yellow Bespoke Air Force 1s.

These feature a completely black upper, with the exception of the grey elephant print found on the Swoosh, and the bright yellow used for the laces. Patent wraps around the toes, while reptile skin is used for the mid-panel and heel. Loopwheeler fleece was selected for the liner, which should keep Motonari’s feet nice and warm. A yellow and clear MX sole is the choice here, providing a solid platform and a bright jump off for these Bespokes.

Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 “Space Jam” Designed by Bun B

Nike Air Force 1

The Air Jordan 11 Retro “Space Jam” is undoubtedly on everyone’s mind as 2009 comes to a close. This sneaker has stayed fresh on our minds through detailed shots and also spotting one of our favorite celebrities Bun B rocking them at a show in Nashville. Bun B obviously loves these sneakers so much that they became the inspiration for his latest Bespoke creation.

This particular Bespoke creation mimics the “Space Jam” down to the tee. The 100% black base features mesh from the heel panel to the side panels (even the swoosh is made of mesh), while the forefoot is done up in patent leather. The aforementioned black base sits atop a clean, white midsole and a clear outsole. However, the most distinctive detail is the royal blue 3M tongue lace loops which represent the Jumpman logo on the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam”. Who else thinks this is one of the most strategically-designed Bespoke creations yet? Click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by Mike Capanni

Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by Mike Capanni

Just like the zebra stripe Bespoke we saw yesterday, this Air Force 1 by Mike Capanni is going above and beyond to break necks and grab attention. Using Nike’s signature Safari print for the entire upper, Mike is sure to get a lot of buzz for being brave enough to do so.

For his sole selection Mike went with a yellow and clear MX piece, which matches the Safari on the liner, Swoosh, heel piece and toe box. The tan-tan print fills in for the remainder of the upper, while a third pink-red material is used for the heel panel and tongue label. Finally, a red heel unit and laces finish off the colorway.

Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by Tony Baker

Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by Tony Baker

The last Bespoke AF1 we saw was about as clean and simple as we had seen to date. And for that, we heard a number of “Nice, but not $800 nice” replies. This next Bespoke works just the opposite of the last, as it is the first to utilize the zebra stripe material offered by Nike.

Tony Baker, the creator and now proud owner of these, covered almost the entire upper of this pair in the animal hair, with the exception of the black suede tongue and worked leather around the laces and heel tab. Just like the purple pair by GDP above though, these feature any icy clear MX sole.

From subtle to wild, we’ve seen a lot out of 21 Mercer. Which pair is your favorite?

Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by GDP

Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by GDP

GDP took a cue from Prince for his Bespoke Air Force 1, hitting up the design studio at 21 Mercer for multiple ways to rain purple on his Nikes. We see a lot of AF1s get churned out in a variety of styles, but right off the back, anyone who is a fan of purple will recognize these as a very clean take on what is possible with the Bespoke program.

Canvas composes the majority of these, as it’s used along the laces and on the toe box and topside of the toe. The mid-panel that backs up the white Swoosh is made with a slightly darker shade of purple in nubuck, while the suede on the heel portion is almost lavender. 3M completes the look, appearing on the tongue and heel portions.

Nike AF1 Bespoke by Mayor

Sneaker enthusiasts Mayor is known for making some unique and well-received designs when arriving at 21 Mercer Street. He obviously has an undeniable love for the Air Force 1 and continues to leave his mark as an Air Force 1 addict. Here we have pictures of yet another Mayor Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke creation.

This particular pair screams ‘royalty’ at a first glance. It features a predominately metallic gold upper combined with a rarely-seen gum midsole (yes, we said midsole not outsole. Other interesting features include a burgundy sock liner and a swoosh, the shoelaces and the outsole done up in the same color. Additionally, Mayor spoke with Strictly Fitteds on the design process of this particular pair. So without further ado, hit the jump for more pictures and Mayor’s words.
