Michigan’s own custom sneaker prodigy T. Way went into the lab and cooked up some new customs for NBA star Chris Paul. Inspired by CP3’s immaculate skill set, T. Way transformed a pair of the all-white Nike RT1’s into a New Orleans-laced colorway that depicts Paul’s vision, heart, and smarts.

The shoe is currently showcased at Grand Rapid’s All City Kicks Boutique, the store that donated the RT1’s to T. Way. However, this sneaker will be auctioned off at the CP3 Winston-Salem Charity event next week. For more photos of these custom RT1’s and a video on T. Way’s creative process click the jump.

A few of your favorite basketball players are currently or have already took part in a worldwide tour. While LeBron James’s “More Than A Game” tour is underway, superstars such as Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul have finished tours of their own. We now have a full recap of the latter player’s tour.

Obviously, during the tour, Chris Paul unleashed the China exclusive Jordan CP3.II “Little Dragon” which draws inspiration from Zhao Yun, a infamous character in Chinese literature. Since its grand opening in October, LA House of Hoops has been showcasing some very nice PEs from players such as Kobe Bryant, Tony Parker and Derek Fisher. Recently, these two Jordan PEs were also spotted at the Los Angeles hot spot.

Featuring the New Orleans Hornets colorway, the Air Jordan 2.5 (left) was obviously created for none other than Chris Paul. Throughout our Kicks On Court, we have seen ‘CP’ hoop in some nice PEs. Therefore, this Air Jordan 2.5 fits right in. Paul’s nickname, ‘CP3′, is imprinted on the ankle area of the sneaker.

Richard Hamilton’s Jordan Jumpman Team Pro PE is the other recent LA House of Hoops release. Inspired by the Detroit Pistons jerseys, this sneaker has been on Hamilton’s foot for the majority of the season. The words, ‘Rip City’ are imprinted on the side of the sneaker in red. Paul’s second signature sneaker features a black/white upper with New Orleans Hornet teal accents on the inner lining, heel, side panels, Jumpman logo and midsole. Paul jersey number (3) is also visible on the midsole.

From a look at the first two Chris Paul signature sneakers, it seems like he will have a very successful line. Could he be the new successful face of Jordan Brand?

Carmelo Anthony’s kicks will be releasing rather shortly, but the next CP3 isn’t due out until spring. I know it’s great to wear your own shoe, but I don’t think Chris will be doing much griping about wearing these. Hypothetically, if these dropped would you cop?
