Converse Skateboarding CONS CTS High Perf

Converse Skateboarding CONS CTS High PerfConverse re-tooled their flagship Chuck Taylor model with skaters in mind. The final product of this project is the CONS CTS High. The alterations to the classic mostly concern padding and are welcomed to say the least. Those of you who’ve ever worn Chuck Taylors know that raw canvas does not protect ankles. The latest edition of this model is the CONS CTS High Perf which is anticipated to drop in both black and white colorways comprised of perforated leather. Currently these sneakers are slated for a Spring/Summer 2010 release so, no worries, you still have time to stack up and skate out your current kicks before you cop these.

Converse Skateboarding Fall 2009

Converse Skateboarding Fall 2009We’ve already seen some fresh releases from the young Converse Skateboarding division of Converse. With classic styles, and added performance for skate duty, you really can’t go wrong.

If this preview is a decent peak at what’s to come, the Converse Skateboarding Fall 2009 line up looks to be equally impressive. Three simple colorways placed onto new, yet familiar styles. Most noticeable, the Chuck Taylor Skate (CTS) in a mid top silhouette is a dope version of the classic All-Stars. A mid top version of the Revere, and a low top of the Pro Leather.

Converse Skateboarding - CONS Pro Leather

Converse Skateboarding - CONS Pro LeatherConverse Skateboarding is attacking the skate world with releases to let everyone know they mean business. The latest is the CONS Pro Leather is the follow up to the Black and Gold Pack.

The CONS Pro Leather is done up in an army green colorway, and like previous Converse Skateboarding releases, it’s not about the size of your…tongue that matters. Converse avoids following the pack with a stay puffed marshmallow size tongue, and adds just enough padding without being excessive. Overall a simple silhouette that should make plenty of skateboard heads give at least a second look at following the masses in lining up for other “SB” releases.
