Air Jordan 22/1 Countdown Pack

Air Jordan 22/1 Countdown Package

Cross off another Countdown Pack tomorrow with the release of the Jordan 22 and Jordan 1. One might wonder if this duo inspired the concept of the “Countdown Pack” when the two released last year separately as the Alpha/Omega Pack.

This pack, like all prior is a general release and can be found at most independent and chain stores. The double pack of Air Jordans will retail for $310, but it may be worth your while to take a look on eBay since there are a few sellers offering the package less than the sticker price. Look for them to pop up online beginning at midnight EST. Photo above from Proper.

Air Jordan 15 Countdown Pack

Air Jordan XV CDPWe have yet another look at what Jordan Brand is releasing on their countdown packs later this year. The Air Jordan 15 was released on the Air Jordan Flight Club site this year in the original black/red color way, but to follow up that OG model is another spin on the black and red color way and here we have the Countdown 15. This countdown package is set to drop in November with a Air Jordan 8. Thank to Sports-Boy for the pictures.

Air Jordan 20 from Coutdown Pack

Air Jordan 20 Black Regional CDP Countdown PackWhile many heads have been looking forward to the October Countdown Pack featuring the Black/Cement Air Jordan III, don’t count on many people lining up for its other half. Some have complained about lopsided packs from the beginning, but pairing two shoes and balancing them equally is a bit of a challenge if you ask me. This Jordan CDP has a bit of an interesting side story to it being that the Jordan 3 was Tinker’s first Air Jordan and the Jordan 20 was his first since “retiring” after the Jordan 15.

The Jordan 20 that was called upon for the package is not exactly receiving as much love as it probably could have. A bit of a shock, Jordan Brand decided to call up the “regional” Air Jordan 20 and entirely black out the shoe. The regional Jordan 20s were far from being as popular to the other 20s in the line. One could find many of them hanging out at the outlets well after the Jordan 21 had released.

Rarely do I inject personal opinion into my writing, (what you choose to wear is up to you!) but to hold silent about this is too hard. In a year that we are supposed to “Countdown” the Jordan shoes in what many thought would be a year of “greatest hits”, the trend seems to be that a package consists of one chart topper, and one ringtone rap classic. If a “regional” Air Jordan can make it into a CDP, what else can we pray we won’t see? Jordan 11 low LE? Jordan 15 Moc? Jordan 22 PE? Pics from KidKrazy007 at NikeTalk.

Air Jordan 5 Countdown Pack

Air Jordan 5 Countdown PackJordan Brand has kept a better lock on the back door recently and has kept the Air Jordan 5 in the upcoming 18/5 Countdown Pack much of a mystery for all of us. While some individuals had information about the color and added details such as a #23 stitched to the side, no pairs were lifted landed in the hands of the usual suspects that sell retro Jordans many months prior to their release.

The only original colorway of the Air Jordan 5 that did not release two years ago in 2006 is what we will see in just a few weeks with the release of the Jordan 18/5 Countdown Package on August 23rd - White/Fire Red-Black. Start saving everybody. Photo from KATC.

Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement Grey CDP

Air Jordan 3 from Countdown PackThe Black/Red Jordan 4 made its return over the weekend for the first time since its first retro release in 1999, but there is another retro return that is building just as much hype. The Black/Cement Grey Air Jordan 3 was last seen in August of 2001 and the 7 years since its release has been far too long for many. Resale prices have pushed a deadstock pair from ‘01 far out of the affordable range making the Jordan 3/20 Countdown Package one of the most anticipated.

One thing that will be noticeably different from the 2008 CDP Air Jordan 3 and the 2001 retro version is the logo on the heel tab of the shoe. The infamous “NIKE AIR” made its last appearance on the back of the Black/Cement Grey Jordan 3 and will be replaced with the Jumpman and “AIR” instead.

Osneaker has once again hooked us up with some detailed shots of this upcoming release. They have a few pairs way ahead of the scheduled release in October.
