David Z and Asics are back at it for another special makeup on the Gel Lyte III. The “Super Blue” Gel Lyte III combines the best of both worlds with a unique colorup as well as high quality materials. Designed again by Ronnie Fieg,  the shoe’s entirely nubuck upper sports a perforated toe box and side panel, black reflective 3M, and a speckle painted midsole.

The “Super Blue” Gel Lyte III will be available tomorrow at 11AM, May 1st in store at the David Z flagship location as online at DavidZ.com for $90.

We got a sneak peak of this collab between Davd Z and Asics back in December, and now all the hard work of designer Ronnie Fieg is about to pay off. Check out the DavidZ x Asics GEL Lyte III “Super Blue”

This colorway is definitely fresh, the blue and grey combo is crazy, especially on these split-tongue runners from Asics. The black inner liner offsets the combination of grey shades and “Super Blue” throughout the upper. The final touches are placed on these kicks with a speckled midsole.

Only 252 pairs will be produced, and be available exclusively at DavidZ.com and at the flagship store in Soho on May 1st.

This time partnering up with Asics for another collab on the GEL Lyte III. The David Z x Asics GEL Lyte III “Super Blue” will feature “Super Blue” accent coloring, along with grey and black. Ronnie and David Z have had previous success with the split tongue silhouette from Asics, with a black patent leather edition that dropped back in October.

We’ve only got a sneak peak now, so we’ll have to wait and see where the colors are placed, and what materials are thrown into the mix on these exclusive David Z kicks.
