Mike Shinoda x DC Shoes Xander

At the beginning of September, we showed you this Mike Shinoda x SURA x DC Shoes Xander, and the majority of you really liked this collaboration. With that said, this collaboration is now available for pre order at SURU.

Anytime DC Shoes hooks up with Linkin Park frontman Mike Shinoda, there is sure to be a classy, highly-detailed design. This particular pair owns an abundance of leathers and nylons on the upper. As for the colorway, it uses a predominately black upper with blue hits throughout the upper. In addition, Mike Shinoda and SURU accents appear on the base as well. DC Xander TX

Mike Shinoda x DC Shoes Xander

DC Shoes has used the Xander model in a number of collaborations with associates such as Mike Shinoda, Lemar and Dauley and Kendo Double Label. However, DC has chosen to let the Xander stand alone this time by introducing this Xander TX.

This sneaker definitely goes in the opposite direction of the subtle, gloomy shoe colorways we see during these seasons. The majority of the base is done up in neon yellow; yet, it contains minimal grey accents on the side panels and tongue. To coincide with the latter details, this Xander is finished with a grey sole. You can pick your pair up now at DC’s online store for $120.

Mike Shinoda x DC Shoes Xander Remix

Mike Shinoda x DC Shoes Xander Remix

Earlier this month we saw the latest Mike Shinoda x DC Shoes collab, the Xander. Shinoda chose to apply some of his Japanese heritage to this latest makeup.

“When I was young, some people were surprised to find out that I am half Japanese. Growing up, I always looked forward to celebrating each New Year’s Day with that side of my family. I love Japanese food and art, so I guess it’s no surprise that those things sometimes end up being a part of my work.”

The proceeds from sales of the majority of his painted/drawn works go to the Michael K. Shinoda Endowed Scholarship, helping students at the Art Center College of Design in California. “I am happy to say that proceeds from my second Remix Series™ shoe are going towards the scholarship once again,
and that DC Shoes has generously offered to match
this donation dollar for dollar.”

Detailed shots after the jump.
