Kicks On Court: NY Visits LA - December 17th, 2008
Posted by George Kiel III | Dec 17, 2008|
Last night, two historical NBA franchises, the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks, were involved in one of the most exciting games of the season, as the Lakers squeezed past the Knicks by two. Although the game was well worth the watch, our Kicks On Court spotted some very nice sneakers in the Staple Center last night from players and movie writers! Knicks guard Quentin Richardson laced up a pair of never-before-seen Jordan 6 Rings. Inspired by the New York colorway, they featured an all-black upper with New York Knicks blue accents on the midsole, heel and tongue. The Jumpman logo also featured orange on the tongue. Overall, Q-Rich’s Jordan 6 Rings may arguably be one of the best colorways seen on this sneaker. Not enough orange you say? Well, check out Spike Lee’s exclusive sneakers. Lee made his presence felt last night by lacing up a New York Knicks colorway of his Jordan Spizike. They contained a predominately White/Orange upper; however, the New York Knicks blue on the elephant print and wings complimented the sneaker nicely. Did Spike have the best PEs in the house? Last but not least (unless we are talking height), Knicks guard Nate Robinson hooped in the Nike Zoom LeBron 6 “Triple Black” last night. According to you, this particular colorway of the Nike Zoom LeBron 6 is the best seen yet on this sneaker. How is he wearing them before LeBron laces them up though? Click the jump to view these sneakers plus more worn by Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, Baron Davis, D.J. Augustin and others. |
