The Foamposite has a huge following to begin with, but the “Eggplant” colorway, which is considered Varsity Purple seems to be on everyone’s cop list. Even at the price of $200 this color on the Foamposite, combined with the icy clear sole makes this one hard to pass up.

In October, we showed you a couple colorways of this hybrid such as the “Penny Blue” and the Nike Air Max Foamdome Black; however, the eggplant color always seems to bring the best out of many sneakers.

This Nike boot is a combination of the Nike Air Foamposite and the Nike Air Max Goamdome. Supposedly, this is just a sample, yet there has been word that these hybrids may release in 2009. Who wishes these would release? Via TSG.

This sneaker features a zippered upper made of Posite material that provides a custom fit.  It also possesses a dynamic-fit sleeve for extra comfort and support. While we’re on the eggplant theme, which pair is better: the Eggplant Foamposite or the Eggplant Flightposite?

This style features the original combination of black and purple on the upper. There were many rumors surrounding this shoe regarding the outsole color. Though lots of sources said it would be solid black, the Eggplant Foamposites  Wale had on his feet were clearly translucent (no pun).
