The year wouldn’t be complete without a Sneaker Summit, right? For their 6th year in existence, the H-town Sneaker Summit will feature a very special guest by way of New York.

On December 27th, 2009, the H-town Sneaker Summit will hold their annual winter event and will feature special guest Bobbito Garcia. In addition to seeing Bobbito Garcia aka Kool Bob Love, the attendee will be able to view displays from the hottest sneaker collections, win raffle prizes and free giveaways among other things. North Carolina’s Sneakerhead syndicate will soon host the second annual NC Sneaker Summit. Last year, Carolina kicks connoisseurs swamped the state’s capital, Raleigh. This year the swamp meet will be a regal affair in the Queen City, Charlotte. Music will be on blast but you might not hear it as you intake a visual overload of scintillating sneakers. Esteemed Carolina purveyors and brands anchored in the sneaker/streetwear culture will also be present. This list includes but is not limited to: Black Sheep, Designer Athletic, Flava Factory, FYSH, and Niche.

The date of the celebration is set for November 21^st and all are invited to partake in the festivities lasting from 10 am - 4pm. As if meeting others in the kick game wasn’t enough, the purchase of an entry ticket will also enter you into a raffle for prizes such as the most recent retro True Blue IIIs or an ultra-rare pair of DS 2001 Space Jam XIs!

We previewed this event last week, and last night in Patchogoue, NY Wale graced the Sneaker Bistro with his presence. The lineup was fierce as hundreds of avid fans of Mr. Folarin were anxious to hear his tunes, and see his kicks.

Wale was in Strong Island last night to promote his album Attention Deficit which drops today. Each fan that stopped by got a copy of the album, and a chance to Meet Wale and compare kicks. Wale is known throughout the sneaker community for procuring kicks months before their general release. His other calling card is his his proclivity for foamposites, and thus it only seems right that the event took place at Long Island hotspot Sneaker Bistro.

With that said, Wale will be making an in-store appearance at Sneaker Bistro on Monday, November 9th, 2009 at 7PM EST. Attendees will have to pay $15 to get into this event; yet it will be well worth the money. The aforementioned $15 will give you the chance to meet Wale and receive an autographed copy of his album dubbed Attention Deficit.
