And by a few sneakerheads, we mean UNDFTD’s Eddie Cruz, Holy Grail’s Liz Sanchez and Richard Torres, Ben Baller, Flight Club’s Bobby Araujo and our own founder and editor-in-chief Matt Halfhill. It’s fair to say the sources are reputable.

Texas Fight!

Texas Fight!Every Saturday, college football teams across the country take to the gridiron with dreams of a BCS berth. Tomorrow, perennial Big XII powers Texas and OU face off in the Red River Rivalry in Dallas. Obviously,  both have dreams of getting to the National Championship Game.

Seeing as we’re based out of Austin, Tx., of course the Nice Kicks team is rooting for the Horns. To show our support, we’ve put together our collection of Nike Texas PEs and exclusives. From the 2008 Maui Hyperdunks to their black PE brothers, there are some hard-to-come-by kicks in burnt orange. (even a football player exclusive only available on campus).

Last week, we showcased three superstar point guards in our Player Profiles: The Legendary, The Past & The Present in hopes of preparing you for the upcoming 2009-2010 NBA season. Many of you stated that it was great to see classic signature lineups compared to shoe lineups of this decade.

Today, we dug into our archives and compiled extensive signature sneaker lines of three of the best shooting guards to ever play the game including Michael Jordan, Anfernee ‘Penny’ Hardaway and Kobe Bryant. The majority of you can agree that some, if not all of your favorite basketball sneakers come from these three lines.
