A couple weeks ago, Gatorade held an event to honor Michael Jordan’s induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame in Chicago, IL. At an undisclosed location, a special Michael Jordan display was created from 14,641 Gatorade bottles. Also displayed in the video are the size limited edition Michael Jordan Gatorade bottles that will hit shelves this fall. Gatorade 23 Michael Jordan Hall of Fame Collection

Our FedEx man has brought many boxes, but none quite as interesting as the one that arrived yesterday at the Nice Kicks office. As Michael Jordan’s entrance to the Hall of Fame nears, there are many fans and companies who have been with Michael from the beginning who are celebrating this lifelong accomplishment.

Gatorade has assembled a special edition line of six Gatorade bottles that tell the story of Michael Jordan from his days at Laney High School to his time in the NBA and to his involvement with Jordan Brand and his other businesses today. Gatorade delivered the pack in a special edition G cooler and had some special goods inside that you can see by clicking here.

Who would ever think that one day Lil Wayne would follow in the foot steps of Michael Jordan…Weezy snuck his way into the Nike LeBron Chalk Commercial earlier this year but made his way into a Gatorade showcasing some of the top Gatorade athletes. Watch for ~~Gatorade~~ “G” to be sold in Styrofoam cups, pre-mixed with your favorite alcoholic beverage in 2009.
