Air Jordan 1 Georgetown Hoyas
Posted by George Kiel III | Oct 13, 2008 If you are too young to remember, this is a picture of Michael Jordan shooting the infamous shot that buried Patrick Ewing and the Georgetown Hoyas in the 1982 NCAA Championship. Jordan entered the league after another two strong seasons at UNC declaring early in the 1984 draft. The following spring a special sample of Georgetown Hoyas edition Air Jordan 1s were made, but the shoes were never produced.
I personally have never seen the Georgetown Hoyas Air Jordan 1 until now and I will likely never see them again. The shoes were spotted on eBay for a very hefty price of $7,999.00. [Click here] to check out the auction. |
