Ray Allen’s Jordan Hallowed Ground “St. Patrick’s Day” PE

Jordan Hallowed Ground

A couple of nights ago, our Kicks On Court spotted Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen sporting a white/gold-green colorway of the Jordan Hallowed Ground. It is obvious that he was gearing up for St. Patrick’s Day. However, Ray Allen unveiled his official 2010 St. Patrick’s Day Jordan sneaker via Twitter.

Ray Allen will be sporting this particular Jordan Hallowed Ground in tonight’s game against the New York Knicks. Although both Jordan Hallowed Grounds contain a similar color scheme, distinctive attributes are seen between the two. This pair owns a primarily white textured leather base combined with a white/gold gradient-like midsole. It also contains multiple gold accents, seen throughout the midfoot, on the heel tab and featured on the inner lining, that coincide perfectly with the previously mentioned sole. To compliment this Hallowed Ground, a three-leaf clover is spotted in between the heel and side panels. Check out the New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics game to see Ray Allen in these special edition Jordan sneakers.

Jordan Hallowed Ground + 16.5 University of California PEs

Jordan Team Cal Bears PEs

The Cal Bears are following the Georgetown Hoyas and Oak Hill Warriors with their own Jordan PEs. The 16.5 and Hallowed Ground have been the choice model of both NBA and college teams all year, so it’s no surprise that Berkeley’s finest were given the same treatment.

White tumbled leather is used on the uppers of the 16.5. Navy Blue patent leather is used on the toe, heel and tongue, while mesh is the choice material for the quarter panels. Yellow accents appear on the heel and toe, as well as the script “Cal” embroidery on the tongue. For the Hallowed Ground, Navy is used on the heel, midsole and mudguard. Pearl white leather makes up the lowest level on the upper, while regular tumbled leather finishes it off. A yellow Jumpman is used on the side to match the outsole stripes.

Jordan Team Georgetown Hoyas PEs

Jordan Team Georgetown Hoyas PEs

The high school hoops squad at Oak Hill Academy aren’t the only team blessed with Jordan team PEs. The Georgetown University Hoyas basketball team has been given their own set of PEs in the Hallowed Ground and Ol’ School III.

Both pairs have been done with grey nubuck and white leather, with accents in navy blue. The Ol’ School III uses the Hoyas-specific print along the midsole. We last saw this print in grey-scale on a Nike Dynasty High. The Hallowed Ground uses blue on the Air Jordan 10-inspired sole, and both use it for the Jumpman logo on the upper.

Jordan Team Oak Hill Academy PEs

Jordan Team Oak Hill Academy PEs

Oak Hill Academy is kind of a big deal. With a seemingly endless number of alumni in the NBA, including Jordan signature athlete Carmelo Anthony, it’s no wonder they’re a top-ranked national powerhouse year-in and year-out. It should also come as no surprise that Jordan Brand has outfitted them with numerous PEs for this season, including the 4 we see here.

The only “Home” colorway we see comes on the 16.5, which uses a white leather upper with contrast coming from the red patent leather and mesh, as well as yellow stitching. The Jordan Hallowed Ground, Melo M6 and Icons silhouettes are all done with a black base. All three use the Warriors’ school color thoroughly, including yellow or red contrast stitching and red on the outsoles. Nubuck is used on the uppers, with numerous Oak Hill embroidery appearing throughout, like “The Hill” we see on the inner heel of the Melos.

Jordan Hallowed Ground Rip Hamilton PE

Jordan Hallowed Ground Rip Hamilton PE

Rip Hamilton’s the next in the line of NBA players to have their PEs hit retail, as this Jordan Hallowed Ground will release at House of Hoops this Saturday, the 19th of December.

Blue nubuck is naturally the first thing you’ll notice, as it covers the tongue in mesh form and the remainder of the midfoot. That tongue also reads “Rip City,” paying tribute to the man these were designed for. Matching that tongue is a blue outsole, through which clear stripes cut. A white upper completes the color-up, which is finalized with a red Jumpman logo near the ankle. Keep an eye on Kicks on Court to see Rip sporting these.

Jordan Hallowed Ground Black/Volt

Jordan Hallowed Ground Black/Volt

As basketball season approaches, we’re starting to see more and more performance silhouettes getting new color-ups. We’ve seen the Hallowed Ground in a number of colorways, including the Rip Hamilton and Oak Hill Academy PEs and this general release Grey/Black pair, and next up is this Jordan Hallowed Ground in Black and Volt.

The uppers on these are all black nubuck, hit with double contrast stitching in Volt yellow. The back of the midsole uses a black-to-yellow gradient, which is also hit with black splatter on the heel. Matching the Jumpman logo near the heel is the white outsole. Look for these soon, and if it’s only the colorway you’re after, check out these Air Jordan Spizike Winterized Boots with the same treatment.

Jordan Hallowed Ground Grey/Black

Jordan Hallowed Ground Grey/Black

We’ve seen a couple Jordan Hallowed Ground releases as of late, including the Oak Hill Academy PEs we saw this morning. It looks like Jordan is limited this silhouette to exclusives though, as witnessed in this Hallowed Ground Grey/Black colorway.

Using the always clean grey-scale color pattern of black, grey and white, these HG’s will release later this fall stateside, but are available now at Japan’s Kinstor. As you can see, this color-up does not use the striped outsole approach borrowed from the Jordan X, like the Rip Hamilton PE we saw last week. A shiny black midsole compliments the upper’s matte-finish black suede, and dual shades of grey.
