Jordan Melo M5 “Jordan Brand Classic All Star Game”
Posted by George Kiel III | Apr 16, 2009
Earlier this month, the 2009 McDonald’s All American Game took place at Madison Square Garden in which all of the players wore an Allen Iverson PE. However, the 2009 Jordan Brand Classic, set to take place on April 18th, 2009, is another High School All Star Game right around the corner. With that said, we will supposedly see the high school stars sporting this Jordan Melo M5 PE. It features a predominately fiery red upper with minimal white accents on the toe box, heel panel, tongue and ankle area. The red side panels also contain a repeated pattern of Anthony’s initials (CA) throughout the base. This sneaker will officially release at the House of Hoops tomorrow, April 17th, 2009. |

Earlier today we told you the Olympic and the Alternate Denver Nuggets Jordan Melo M5 colorway dropped this past weekend at all three House of Hoops locations; however, we have now spotted them at other retailers, namely OSneaker. We also have better photos to either sway your opinion negatively or positively. If you recall, Carmelo Anthony sported the red, white and blue colorway of the Jordan Melo M5 throughout the 2009 Beijing Olympics this past summer. The start date of the 2009 Olympics, 08-08-08, is imprinted on the inner lining of the sneaker, As for the Black/Metallic Silver-University Blue-Tx colorway, we have yet to see Anthony lace these up in a game this season; however, we expect to see them soon. Only 72 pair were released to the public. Click the jump to view detailed photos of each colorway. |
