Jordan CP3.III Detailed Photos

Jordan CP3.III Detailed Photos

We got our first look at Chris Paul’s third signature sneaker not too long ago, and it grabbed a lot of attention. From comparison to the Air Jordan XXII and talk of CP sticking to Jordan PEs, the reception was a grab bag of positive and negative reaction.

Now we have not only detailed photos for you, but a release date–January 2, 2010. In the photos linked to above, we see a carolina/black colorway, and while this pair uses a Hornets jersey-matching “orion blue” color for its main accent, it uses a very similar black and white upper. The mid-panel section uses laser etching of New Orleans-inspired designs. A small detail to make note of also is the different stitching pattern along the white section of the upper from the sample we saw. The midsole also features a speckled white and black design.

How do the CP3.IIIs stack up against Melo’s M6? Might we see Dwyane Wade wear a PE pair of these to show some respect for his JB-teammate? Head to the comments section and let us know.

Jordan Spizike Black Patent

Jordan Spizike Black Patent

Yesterday we got a look at the Jordan Spizike Black/White-Infrared, which was rumored to have been designed by DJ Clark Kent and then later confirmed to have no real connection. Today, we have this patent leather version, which thankfully hasn’t been linked to anyone but MJ and Spike.

These are absolutely slathered in black patent leather. From the ankle on down to the toes, this shiny black material is present. The toe piece looks to be made of solid black suede, while a laser print is used on the heel section. Breaking up the black are both the liner, which is red and features print, and a white plastic grate from the Jordan V. The Air bubble sole from the Jordan III isn’t covered in patent, but it has been done up with a black shiny coating.

These are expected to drop Spring 2010. How do these compare to the other Spizikes we’ve seen, like the one above or the Black and Cement Greys we saw awhile back?

Jordan Flipsyde

Jordan Flipsyde

Last year, the Flipsydes dropped to disappointed reviews. For this coming November, they’re back, but can these AJXII-inspired models change the opinions and avoid the outlets?

Drawing design cues from the “Taxi” XIIs and “Flu Game” XIIs, these will drop in two new colorways. The black pair is accented with a red outsole, leather toe caps and heel logos. The other uses black leather for accents on white uppers. Both feature mid-panel eyelets in red or gold. For added heel protection, the Flipsyde features a heel air bubble and an uppers made entirely of pebbled leather.

Believe it or not, but there was a time when old school skaters were anti-Nike SB. Much has changed since, obviously. Can Jordan Brand transfer its dominance from hoops sneakers to the skate market, or is this another anti-purist move hurting JB’s image?

Jordan Ol’ School III

Jordan Ol' School III

Jordan’s team sneakers have been pretty well received thus far this year, especially the Hallowed Grounds Oak Hill Academy PE and Grey/Black. The HG isn’t the only release for JB though, as seen as this black Jordan Ol’ School III.

Available now, these feature an all dark upper, mixing black with a dark grey material in the mid-panel. Breaking it all up is white contrast stitching. The midsole is made with a white and black splatter, similar to the Jordan 60+ releases we’ve seen lately. Red Jumpman logos appear on the toe and near the ankle, and again as a part of the “Flight” label on the tongue, just like the Jordan Flight 45 High we saw yesterday. Finally an icy blue air bubble in the heel finishes off the multicolored sole.

Jordan Holiday Releases

Jordan Holiday Releases

No, not those holiday releases. Instead, the complete lineup of Jordan non-performance releases is seen here, including some Blase Mids, L’Style Ones and two Campus Chukkas.

We’ve seen the Blase Mid in this all-black color-up before, and reviews were mixed. For the coming months, a brown suede and a second black color-up join the aforementioned shoe. This second black pair uses bits of red for accent and contrast stitching, and the mid-panel pattern is absent. The L’Style One appears in a light brown color-up we’ve not seen before, which uses a matching midsole. The Campus Chukka, which has been received well for its design and also turned away for its $110 price, are dropping in the grey and black colorways we previewed this summer.

Is JB doing itself justice here, or are the purists still against this move towards non-athletic wear?

Jordan Hallowed Ground Grey/Black

Jordan Hallowed Ground Grey/Black

We’ve seen a couple Jordan Hallowed Ground releases as of late, including the Oak Hill Academy PEs we saw this morning. It looks like Jordan is limited this silhouette to exclusives though, as witnessed in this Hallowed Ground Grey/Black colorway.

Using the always clean grey-scale color pattern of black, grey and white, these HG’s will release later this fall stateside, but are available now at Japan’s Kinstor. As you can see, this color-up does not use the striped outsole approach borrowed from the Jordan X, like the Rip Hamilton PE we saw last week. A shiny black midsole compliments the upper’s matte-finish black suede, and dual shades of grey.

Jordan Hallowed Ground Rip Hamilton PE

Jordan Hallowed Ground Rip Hamilton PEThe Jordan Hallowed Ground debuted earlier this year in preparation for the upcoming hoops season, and it looks like one of the best all-around players will be playing in his own PE in Detroit’s Rip Hamilton.

The Man in the Mask will be sporting these white and blue Jordans starting in less than a month when the season begins, and sometime later this fall these will be available in-store. These use a mix of blue nubuck, white tumbled leather and white patent on the uppers. The sole uses a mix of blue and transparent icy rubber, in a pattern straight off of the Air Jordan 10, while the aforementioend uppers channel the AJIXs. These become a true PE with the “Rip City” embroidery on the tongue, and the red Jumpman logo on the heel, tying the Pistons’ colors in completely.

Look for Rip in the upcoming season of Kicks On Court and click here to see more pics.
