Unlike previous rising sun inspirations, like the Vans that dropped a couple years back, or the iconic Air Jordan 12, the Puma MITA Clyde gets a unique colorway. The Clyde gets a black and blue colorway in the old school Japanese flag graphic, the rising sun. Materials feature leather outters with a suede on the tongue, and continuing onto the toebox.

Mita definitely represents their homeland properly with these kicks, but would Walt Frazier rock these throwbacks that share his “Clyde” nickname?

The colorways for round 15 of the MT580 collabs feature some bright accent colors, and with an official colorway that includes cayenne, these are sure to spice up your shoe collection. Then again the another color on the same shoe is called passionflower, it makes for a spicy and sweet approach.

Whatever the color names, these kicks are either instant classics, or straight to the clearance racks, you be the judge.

Since most of you us can’t make it there in person, we are bringing it to you. The MT580 originally designed exclusively for Mita, has taken on many adaptations over the years. Those neon laces look fresh on the pink pair, though they say the inspiration is from hiking boots, the laces look like they might have come from those bracelets that came in the quarter machines back in the day. If you were kid in the early 90’s you know what I’m talking about.

Back to the MT580, it is a trail runner from the 90’s that was originally a Mita Sneakers exclusive. The MT580 is the choice once again for this, the 14th time, these companies have teamed up. The price tag on these is about $175, and they can be pre-ordered now. The release date is set for November 1st.

We mentioned before that this is the 14th collab between these sneaker heavyweights. This could be the best MT580 so far. The neon green on the pink/grey pair just pops, especially with those matching laces. The blue/grey is just a simple color combo that always looks good.
