New Balance Japan A03

New Balance Japan A03

This new silhouette from New Balance Japan blends boot and shoe to make an all-weather silhouette that’s protective like a rain boot and loud like, well, a Japan-exclusive sneaker. Mixing materials, both A03 models use suede on the toes and nylon for the remainder of the upper.

Black is used for the base of the first pair while bright pink jumps off the toes to accent these and grab the attention of any passer-by. This pair sits on a grey midsole and black outsole. The other pair uses shades of brown, both dark and tan, sitting on a dark brown outsole and off-white midsole. Both are also lined with fur to keep their wearers’ feet warm.

Concepts x New Balance “Freedom Trail” Collection

Concepts x New Balance "Freedom Trail" Collection

Thanksgiving is a time to sit down with family and give thanks for the blessings we’ve received, enjoying the moments we get with those we love. Black Friday is for ruthlessly pushing over fellow shoppers to get the last hot item on sale at the mall. While we don’t endorse the latter, this Concepts x New Balance collection may very well result in such melee.

The New Balance 1500 and 875 boot will both be available in this collection for the 27th, draped in full-grain brown leather. This 875 boot is the first time we’ve ever seen this silhouette, while the 1500 is a classic runner. The 1500 features an embossed tongue tag and pigskin leather lining for added breathability. The 875 boot uses the same features, and features a molded EVA sole and Rollbar technology. The colorway and material choices stem from the brick-lined streets of Boston’s North-end neighborhood, a landmark in American history.

New Balance 577

New Balance’s classic 577 isn’t going anywhere. At 20 years old, the silhouette may be rather old by sneaker standards, but it’s never gone out of style. For nest Spring and Summer, more 577s will drop, including these two we previewed a few months ago.

Both pairs feature white off-white nubuck and suede throughout. Tan mesh and suede are used on the uppers and toe areas. As of yet, maroon and olive green colorways will release, with snakeskin print on the mid-panels. Both also sit on white midsole, which match the heel and toe accent panels, and black outsoles.
