Almost one year ago to the day, the Nike Air 1/2 Cent hit the internet for the first time. The original Varsity Royal colorway is probably one of the top sneakers of 2009. Today, we have a look at the Black/Metallic Silver colorway that will be hitting retailers in the near future.
As with the earlier colorway, this Nike Air 1/2 Cent mixes up features from the classic Penny Hardaway line in order to create the signature shoe for Lil Penny. The colorway contains a predominantly black upper with only a hint of Metallic Silver.

Without any warning, the all black Nike Air 1/2 Cent arrived and went on sale at Footaction stores in NYC last week. The shoes have started to surface at additional shops, but are not sitting around for too long before selling out. As with virtually any sneaker, just because they sell out in store doesn’t mean they’re gone forever. We just spotted a few pairs have hit eBay; however, the going rate is around $50 - $60 over box price.
