Of course, this Trainer pays homage to Bo Jackson’s illustrious career with the Raiders, among many other teams (even in other sports). Featuring silvery nubuck along the side and rear, the remainder of the upper is black leather, with two multi-color stripes crossing over the topside.

The Nike Air Trainer SC, originally releasing in 1990, can already be seen on store shelves in its OG White/Royal/Orange colorway. However, we now know that the Los Angeles Raiders make-up of the Air Trainer SC is slowly filtering to retailers. OG sneakerheads possess an attachment with this shoe as it symbolizes Bo Jackson’s phenomenal play and marks the jump off of Nike’s incredible “Bo Knows” marketing campaign. Earlier in the year, many of us saw samples of this sneaker yet to our dismay the “34″ on the heel wasn’t present. Luckily, the “34″ wasn’t omitted on the final product.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the famous BO KNOWS campaign as well as the introduction of the Nike Trainer 1.  Creating some energy for the new product as well as celebrating the history of shoes, Nike has brought out many of the great sneakers Bo Jackson trained in including the Nike Air Trainer 1, Nike Air Trainer II, Nike Air Trainer III, and now the Nike Air Trainer SC.  This original colorway debuted way back when in 1989 and ties back to Bo’s alma mater of Auburn University.

The Nike Air Trainer SC “Total Orange” is available now at select retailers including Proper in Long Beach, CA with a suggested retail price of $105.  Still no word about the Nike Air Trainer SC II…

Nike Training is steady bringing on the retros to help celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the Bo Knows campaign. Aside from the Trainer 1 Legacy Pack, and the Tecmo Bo Trainer II, another classic colorway will be making a return in the coming months.

This color combination of the Nike Air Trainer SC combines Total Orange, Light Zen Grey and Stealth on top of a white base. The colorway pays tribute to Bo Jackson’s career at the Auburn University. The colorway originally dropped back in 1989 when the Bo Knows marketing campaign was probably more popular than prime time sitcoms.

Look for these to hit retailers in September for $105.

We’ve seen a lot of classic colorways return from the Nike Training line recently. Two colorways of the Trainer SC, the OG Colorway, and a Raiders colorway both surfaced last month. Today, yet another colorway has surfaced.

The Nike Air Trainer SC colorway you see here is an upcoming November release in a white, grey and “Beet” red colorway. The Trainer SC is no doubt a classic, and in this color combination should definitely have the attention of most sneakerheads. Which of the recent colorways do you prefer?

Earlier this week, we spotlighted the Nike Air Trainer II “Tecmo Bo”, and many of you really took a liking towards this shoe. It is always nice to see classic sneakers in exclusive colorways; however, a retro here and there is worth more sometimes. With that said, Nike will be releasing the Air Trainer SC OG in August 2009.

If you recall, this particular sneaker was seen in the first “Bo Knows” television advertisements during the early 90s. The colorway is comprised of a predominately white leather base with orange, grey and stealth accents throughout the upper. As stated earlier, the Nike Air Trainer SC OG will hit retailers in August. One of the most classic Nike’s from the Bo Jackson days of the late 80’s and early 90’s will be returning again in a colorway that can only be associated with his time as a Los Angeles Raider.

The Nike Air Trainer SC will return this fall in a black and grey makeup that will surely make Jackson and Raiders fans alike happy to see it’s return. This trainer was one of the more popular of the Training line, which will be making a big coming back in the coming months.
