Nike Air Yeezy Doernbecher Art
Posted by Alex Kroviak | Oct 2, 2009
From the same artist who did the Doernbecher Freestyle Art Collection comes this Nike Air Yeezy piece of work. Like the other pieces artist Krupky did, he had only one shot at this, even though it meant destroying one of the decade’s biggest sneakers. Krupky turned the Air Yeezy’s into something that actually flies–an airplane. Uppers serve as wings, soles as the cabin and the laceholders even look like jet afterburners. The stand lights up like a runway in the dark, just like the Yeezy soles. This is the final piece of the Doernbecher freestyle collection, with proceeds from its sale going to the children’s hospital. Click here for more pics. |
