Nike Auto Force 180 Teal/Black

The Auto Force 180 has been done up in some very simple colorways, from the blue and orange Knocks-inspired, and the slightly more complex Olympic-inspired colorway that just released. Next up are these as a House of Hoops exclusive, also borrowing inspiration from one of greatest ever players’ colorways, hitting us with a teal and black combination.

We refer to David Robinson and his Air Force 180 Pump Hi, which featured a very similar colorway. For these Auto Force 180s, a white leather upper is the base, while teal accents are used for loops near the laces. The sole is vulcanized and black, while the major attention-grabber is the teal splatter design stemming from the heel. A black patent leather is used across the top, finishing the colorway.

Nike Auto Force 180 “Olympic”

Nike Auto Force 180 "Olympic"

Of all the Nike Auto Force 180s we’ve seen, including the Knicks-inspired and expected 2010 releases, the Olympic-inspired colorway was definitely the best received and anticipated. And thanks to eBay, a nearly full-size run is available now.

If you recall, this particular colorway draws inspiration from the Charles Barkley and the Dream Team’s 1992 Air Force 180, but gets the increasingly-popular vulcanized sole treatment in navy blue. It also features a predominately white leather upper with multiple patent leather sections, including the toe. Minimal red accents appear on the border of the tongue, and the color’s used to separate the uppers from the sole.

Head over to eBay now if you want to be the first to have these, while the more patient of us can hold out until later this year for a more general release.
