Throughout our Kicks On Court, we have spotted many players sporting the Nike Hyperize and the Hypermax; however, the Blue Chip II has also been spotted regularly. Following the Caron Butler and Jermaine O’Neal PEs we showed you at the beginning of this month, we now have spotted a general release that will soon surface at your local retailers.

It features a mainly white-colored base that is comprised of leather and a quilted texture design. The section just below the aforementioned area possesses a black cement print design. However, its red accents give this shoe an electrifying look. Do not be surprised to see Portland Trail Blazers star Brandon Roy wearing these sooner than later. Click here to view detailed photos.

With all the hype behind the Air Max LeBron VII and the Team Bank editions of the Zoom Soldier III and Zoom Kobe IV, the Nike Blue Chip II has gone overlooked. But for this upcoming season, Miami Heat Jermaine O’Neal and Washington Wizard Caron Butler will be sporting their own PEs.

Caron’s uses a mix of black and white leather, while blue is used as an accent along the midsole and also on the laces and Swoosh, which uses the Wizards’ gold for an outline. Jermaine’s BCII gets bright red patent leather around the bottom, with black leather near the laces. A white Swoosh and midsole accent complete the Heat colorway.

This particular Blue Chip II was made specifically for Lisa Leslie in honor of the yearly “Think Pink” campaign. If you recall, Nike paid tribute to the aforementioned campaign last year in the form of the Nike Hyperdunk “Think Pink”. Lisa Leslie’s Blue Chip II obviously owns a predominately purple/yellow colorway seeing that she is still a member of the Los Angeles Sparks; however, pink accents are noticeable on the border of the swoosh, the collar and on the Kay Yow Cancer Fund logo which is located on the heel panel.
