Nike Dunk High “Metallic Pack”

Nike Dunk High "Metallic Pack"

The easiest way to grab some attention for your sneaks? Make them bright or make them shiny. This “Metallic Pack” of WMNS Dunk Highs takes a cue from each tip, draping both pairs in a metallic leather with hints of a reflective material.

Like the Air Jordan 1 “Metallic” Gold & Navy we saw last week, one pair gets treated to gold leather. The mid-panel uses a black material with reflective dots throughout is, providing a dark background for the Swoosh to work against. A gum bottom sits under a white midsole to complete the look. For the other pair, the entire upper is done up in silver, including the mid-panel, which uses a material similar to the other pair’s.

These may both be women’s pairs, but fellas who want either can always size it up 1.5 to grab them, as they’re available now.

Nike Dunk High “Dia De Los Muertos”

Nike Dunk High "Dia De Los Muertos"

We’ve gotten a look at Nike’s Halloween-related releases in the past month or so, from the Savage Beast AF1s to the Dunk Low “Dia De Los Muertos.” Another Dunk that got a lot of attention was this black High “Dia De Los Muertos,” of which we have confirmed the release date.

Next Saturday, October 31, House of Hoops will release these just in time for the big day. These are, of course, actually designed for the Mexican “Day of the Dead” holiday not Halloween, but this release provides time enough to grab them regardless of which you celebrate. The uppers on these use premium black leather with printed purple and black leather on the toe and flap panels. Orange contrast stitching sets off the dark colors to boot.

If you’re not near an HOH location, call your local boutique and see if they’re getting them in. Are these a trick, or a treat?

Todd Bratrud x Nike SB Dunk High “Brain Wreck” QS

Skateboard artist Todd Bratrud paired with Nike on these Dunks, which have been coined “Brain Wreck,” to coincide with his upcoming art show.

A grey suede upper is complimented with a leather tongue, which is “brain” pink. The grey swoosh is leather, also, but in a matching hue to the rest of the upper. The whole shoe sits on a white midsole with a dark grey outsole. If you look close, a bright blue is used on the tongue tag logo. The final touch comes from the namesake, as “Brain” and “Wreck” appear in old western font on the heels of the left and right shoes, respectively.

This pair will drop only at Familia Skateshop in Minneapolis, MN, on October 9. Click through for more pics and to weigh in on these Dunk Highs.

Nike Dunk “Track” Pack

Nike Dunk High

If the first thing you thought of when looking at this pack was the LIVESTRONG x Nike Stages Collection, we would not blame you. Some of you have stated that there has been a little too many black/yellow sneakers, while others are looking over their shoulder for more. If you are a part of the latter statement, you will be happy to see this Nike Dunk “Track” Pack.

This two-sneaker pack, which was created as a part of Nike’s ND line, pays tribute to Nike’s track-and-field heritage. The Dunk High (shown to the right) keeps it simple with a predominately flint grey and black upper with multiple varsity maize colored accents throughout the midfoot area amongst other sections. However, the Dunk Low (shown here) seems to contain more of a complex design and color scheme. It features a mostly white leather base with various sections of a black speckled print design throughout the toe and midfoot area. Furthermore, the yellow shoelaces give it a nice contrasting look. The Nike Dunk “Track” Pack will hit retailers some time during the holiday season.

Nike Dunk High “Day of the Dead”

Nike Dunk High "Day of the Dead"Sneak peeks of Nike’s halloween lineups have popped up lately, and we covered the Air Max 90 “Day of the Dead” recently, too. Of course it was only natural that one of Nike’s favorite silhouettes got a Halloween treatment, courtesy of the “Day of the Dead” Dunk.

Expect these just after Halloween, strangely, along with the aforementioned AM90s and a third Nike. These use a black midsole and mostly-black upper, offset with a bright green swoosh and liner. The remainder is made up of a purple and black Halloween print.

Release details will follow, but click here for more pics.
