Nike’s new designs have been nothing less than a breath of fresh from the retros we are so used to seeing. This winter, Nike will unleash a plethora of new styles inspired by some classic sneakers. Specifically, will release the Aqua inspired Auto Flight and Hoop Structure.

The Nike Hoop Structure, obviously inspired by the Air Jordan 8 “Aqua”, features the crayon-like pattern on the heel. Also, the predominance of the base is done up in nubuck. As for the “Aquatone” Auto Flight, it owns a mainly white upper with a different color crayon design on the heel. Both will be available at select retailers later this winter. The Nike Air Hoop Structure hightop silhouette was introduced earlier this year to rave reviews, as it brought the best features of the Nike Air Structure Triax 91 and made them into a basketball shoe.

If the “Hot Red” colorway didn’t do it for you, and the black and red color-up wasn’t for you either, we just caught wind of this Hoop Structure “Aqua” on eBay. Taking obvious design cues from the classic Air Jordan VIII “Aqua,” the black-purple-teal combination works well. The Jordans’ heel cup graphics are even nearly-identical to those we see here. Word is that these will release late in 2009, but for now, you can grab a size 9 on eBay now.

The buy-it-now price has been set, so if you’re a fan and a size 9, get on these before someone else does.

In the past we have seen a few Jordan-esque colorways of the Nike Hoop Structure including one loosely inspired by the Olympic 6’s and Aqua 8’s, but this colorway definitely has an Infrared 6 feel to it. While Jordan Brand will be releasing a “Black/Varsity Red” colorway of the Jordan 6 next spring, will these hold you over until then?
