The uppers on these are almost completely suede in a wheat color. Small bits of mesh in the same color are used throughout, as well. Dark brown leather is the choice material to complete the look on the ankle area. A wheat leather Swoosh appears on the upper, providing “ghost” branding along the side. Red laces match part of the outsole and finish off the colorway.

How do these compare to the other colorways we’ve seen of the RT1s, like the Black-on-Black colorway we saw last?

The Nike RT1 model has been a small part of the high-top sneaker craze in 2009. The first colorways, which had shades of green mist and yellow, respectively, were ideal for the spring/summer season. However, as the winter season approaches, we will continue to see more dark-colored sneakers. With that said, we have just received word that the Nike RT1 Black/Black is now available at select retailers such as Proper.

It simply features an all-black leather construction all the way down to the Nike tag logos (tongue, heel panel). As with the previous RT1 models, heavy perforations are seen on the tongue and toe box. What are your thoughts on this all-black-everything look?

Michigan’s own custom sneaker prodigy T. Way went into the lab and cooked up some new customs for NBA star Chris Paul. Inspired by CP3’s immaculate skill set, T. Way transformed a pair of the all-white Nike RT1’s into a New Orleans-laced colorway that depicts Paul’s vision, heart, and smarts.

The shoe is currently showcased at Grand Rapid’s All City Kicks Boutique, the store that donated the RT1’s to T. Way. However, this sneaker will be auctioned off at the CP3 Winston-Salem Charity event next week. For more photos of these custom RT1’s and a video on T. Way’s creative process click the jump.

The Nike RT1 has created a lot of buzz, namely because of hip-hop artists like Jay-Z and Jim Jones going toe-to-toe in Who Rocked it Better. Though this latest colorway may be a little less appealing than the previous colorways, there will no doubt be many heads grabbing a pair.

The Nike RT1 is done up in a Mist Blue/Metro Grey/Voltage Yellow combination that will give many options as far as finding the right fits to go with them. The contrast stitching and bright yellow laces will probably invoke some haters, but I could see these working well throughout the summer.

With all the hype surrounding the Air Yeezy right now, the fresh Nike RT1 model can easily be overlooked. We showed you the Nike RT1 Hi Black/Black-Varsity Red-White late last month in which many of you really liked, yet, Nike is gearing up for the release of this Neutral Grey/Green Mist colorway.

It uses up to three different shades of grey on the upper. For example, the toe box, tongue and lower side panel section feature a perforated dark grey color scheme, while the heel possesses a grey cement print-like design. The rest of the upper is covered in neutral grey. To finish it off, this sneaker is complimented with a green mist outsole.
