Nike SB Blazer Elite Lance Mountain

Nike SB Blazer Elite Lance MountainLance Mountain is at it again with a new fresh pair of Blazer’s. The Nike SB Blazer Elite is the second Blazer to drop recently, at the hand of Lance’s design.

These Blazer’s feature a much more subtle colorway than the earlier release. An all black upper sits atop a white midsole, while the only other color is the red on the tongue, and the red on the plush inner liner. A combination of leather and suede make up the materials, and they come with both white and black laces.

Another fresh pair of Nike SB’s from one of the iconic figures in skateboarding, Lance Mountain.

Lance Mountain x Flip Skateboards “Vato Skull”

Lance Mountain x Flip Skateboards Vato SkullNike Skateboarding hired Lance Mountain back in 2007, after a year or so of development, the Lance Mountain Nike Blazer emerged. Now, with the help of Flip Skateboards the Lance Mountain x Flip Skateboards “Vato Skull” is now available at Flip.

Lance is like the Lil Wayne of Skateboarding, he’s been handling the game so long his thumbs are probably bruised. Check out the old school photos after the jump of him doing his thing, skating off of rooftops back in the day. The photos were taken by Craig Stecyk, who designed the logo back in the early 80’s. Yes, that’s older then a lot of you, us.

The board is available for $150 and is limited to 500, each one is signed and numbered by Lance. Via CtotheJL.

Lance Mountain x Nike SB Blazer

Lance Mountain x Nike SB BlazerThe Lance Mountain x Nike SB Blazer is a from the collaboration of Lance Mountain, C. R. Stecyk III, and Nike Skateboarding. The project has been in the making for over a year, and the result is an incredible release.

The SB Blazer is a popular model to skate in, and that’s exactly what they did. Even creating an entire website dedicated to this release [HERE]. Rightfully so, since Mountain and Stecyk have been pioneers in the skateboard and street culture scene since the 70’s. You should have heard of Dogtown, whether the movie or the stories, they both were in the mix in some way or another.

The graphics you see on the heel are the same design Stecyk used when he designed Mountain a skateboard deck all the way back in the 80’s. That should tell you the importance of this collaboration. Available in November. More photos after the jump.
