Nike Sportswear “Valentine’s Day” Pack 2010

Nike

Holiday-inspired sneakers have, and will continue to be a staple in the shoe world. We haven’t even seen Thanksgiving or Christmas and we already have spotted a preview of Nike’s Valentine’s Day Pack for 2010. Is this a little too early for you?

2010’s Valentine’s Day Pack will feature two sneakers: the Court Force Hi and the Vandal. Both models go in the opposite direction of your every-year red and pink Valentine’s Day sneakers. The Court Force Hi features a predominately white base with various details such as tartan plaid (heel) and patent leather (side panel) on the base. It is also finished with a gold heart design on the tongue. The Vandal model features the plaid design on the side panels and toe box. It seems to contain more red accents such as the outsole, swoosh and the ankle strap. Click here to view additional photos.

Nike Vandal High Supreme Vintage

Nike Vandal High Supreme VintageNike’s classic silhouettes have been given the vintage treatment a lot as of late, connecting the old-school appeal of some of these models with the feeling of un-boxing a fresh new pair of sneaks. The Blazer went vintage last, with two simple colorway releases, and now the Vandal High is coming in two less-subtle versions.

A magenta color and a black color-up will release in October. Each uses a metallic Swoosh and a multi-colored ankle strap. The wrinkly nylon uppers work with the intentionally yellowing sole as part of the vintage look.

Nike Vandal High “Michigan”

Nike Vandal High

If you recall, Nike has picked out the University of Michigan as an inspiration for a couple of sneakers such as the Air Force 25 and the Be True vintage Nike Dunks. For this year, Nike has set aside the Vandal High for the Michigan inspiration.

Obviously, it owns the Michigan Wolverines color scheme for the makeup of this sneaker. This Vandal contains a predominately navy blue base with yellow streaks appearing throughout the upper. To finish it off, this sneaker is also complimented with a traditional white midsole and a navy blue outsole. Is this shoe fresh enough for some of you Ohio State fans to wear? If so, it is now available at LTD. Click here to view additional photos.

Nike Vandal High Supreme Vintage Medium Grey/Vivid Pink

Nike Vandal High Supreme Vintage

There were mixed remarks on the Nike Vandal High Supreme Vintage “Electric Green” that we showed you yesterday afternoon which we expected; it is definitely not a sneaker for everyone. However, if the flamboyant look does not suit you well, the aforementioned Vandal’s counterpart possesses a more subtle look.

Sure, this Vandal High also possesses the classic, vintage sole, yet, what happens above the sole is totally different from the “Electric Green” Vandal High. This particular sneaker owns a subtle yet stylish medium grey-colored nylon upper with minimal vivid pink accents in the form of the border of the swoosh, the Nike logo (tongue) and the ankle strap. The latter area also seems to contain a shade of orange to it as well. This Vandal High Supreme will also release in February 2010. Which colorway interests you more? Nike Vandal High Supreme Vintage “Electric Green”

Nike Vandal High Supreme Vintage Electric Green

Are you tired of seeing the recent inflation of Dunks and Blazers as of late? Some of you may feel that Nike should keep them coming, while others want to see something fairly new. With that said, Nike is bringing the Vandal High back after a little hiatus in an unmatched, attention-getting colorway. This Nike Vandal High Supreme Vintage “Electric Green” is expected to release in February 2010.

We must applaud Nike for being innovative with the infamous Vandal by way of color scheme. In attempt to mix ‘old’ and ‘new’, Nike applied a futuristic electric green color to this Vandal’s nylon base and combined it with an age-old-looking vintage sole. It also contains a black border around the swoosh and a black/grey ankle strap. Nonetheless, this particular shoe will be nothing less than a hit when it finally releases. Also, look out for its colorway counterpart coming soon. What are your thoughts on this Nike Vandal High Supreme Vintage “Electric Green”?
