The sneaker game is a boys’ club for sure, but sometimes manufacturers come with a little something for the ladies, like these Spring 2010 Nike WMNS Cortez Nylons.

The nylon uppers of both are great fits for spring, as one is a dark navy blue with bright pink accents, while the other comes in a light teal, with just a bit of orange for accent and yellow on the tongue. If you couldn’t guess from the name, both models use nylon as their choice material, with matching suede heelcaps. Whether these are working for you or not, it’s great to see a classic for the female heads out there.

The Dunk High from Nike has been a popular model with the ladies for quite awhile now. A couple of new colorways have recently landed at HUF in San Francisco.

The first Nike Dunk High is a comes from the Checker Pack we showed you in April. It is the trimmed and slimmed Skinny version made specifically for women. The second to arrive, is the Challenge Red colorway that we recently showed, both colorways should be an easy fit into many collections.

This Womens Air Max 1 Safari will be available in four colorways, twice as many choices as the fellas get. A pair of bright purple, and bright red grab the most attention. While the other two colorways, the white and teal, and black with red, are anything but subtle. Look for these at Nike retailers in 2009.

Not sure how the skull graphics represent Cupid’s Holiday, but the red, white and gold colorway definitely does a good job at it. These high top’s should definitely sit well on the feet of the ladies, or for the fellas maybe even make a nice gift for the special girl in your life. At 12,000 Yen that’s only about $130, not a bad price, and it might even help the guys seem like the helpless romantic your girl has been wanting.

Just don’t be buying them in a bigger size than hers so you can rock them, that won’t go over well.

The Air Digs may look Miami styled as far as color goes, but it’s more performance oriented than Gabby Reece on court. The early 90’s styling inspiration, of other classics like the Air Trainer, is easily recognizable on these volleyball kicks. The mesh paneling has that throwback feel, and on top of that the indoor court performance is maximized with the gum sole treatment.

Even Gabby Reece in her on court heydays would agree these may be called digs, but these kicks definitely kill.

Lately, we have seen a lot of boots and other winter sneakers for the men; however, Nike is releasing a four-sneaker pack of winter-inspired footwear for the ladies. We have already spotted this bundle at Proper.

This vivid pack includes two separate contrasting packs in itself (as far as colorways). A mix of purple, orange, and pink is featured on one set of the Nike Air Max ‘87 and Blazer whereas the other set sports a blend of sky blue, green, and white. Both Blazers feature a patchwork design on the upper with detailed embroidery throughout the sneaker. The Air Max ’87’s have been designed with a combination of leather and ripstop nylon. Applaud Nike for keeping the women in mind for the winter season!
