While it may not compare to the NFL’s everything-pink-but-uniforms Breast Cancer Awareness efforts, LBJ sported the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III “Think Pink” during Cleveland’s preseason victory over the Charlotte Bobcats last night.

October is Breast Cancer Awarness month, and if you recall, the ZSIII “Think Pink” were created to pay tribute to late NCAA coach Kay Yow and also raise awareness, as were the Nike Hyperdunks “Think Pink.” They feature a pink and white make-up, with pink patent leather on the toe cap and uppers. As one of the most physical players in the game, it’s a little odd to see him wearing light pink, but the great story and cause behind these override the fact they don’t match the Cavs’ jerseys. And it’s safe to assume that David Stern won’t fine LeBron for these like Michael’s black Air Jordan 1’s.

The regular season is almost here, so don’t worry basketball fans. And of course, Kicks on Court will return in all its glory, so be ready to hit your keyboard as soon as your favorite squad hits the hardwood.

LeBron may not have gone to college, but his sneakers seem to end up there every season. The Ohio State great-that-never-was is paying tribute to the Buckeyes with this Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III PE. And while there was no chance he would have ever ended up at Akron, the Zips get their own PEs too.

The Ohio State PEs are essentially the Team Soldier IIIs with OSU logos, like the “O” on the lower strap. The accent piece separating the sole from the upper has also been changed to black from silver. The Akron PEs’ patent leather toe and side pieces are navy blue, and the entire shoe uses gold accents and contrast stitching. Their logo also appears on the lower strap.

Allegiances aside, how do these Soldier PEs stack up against some of Nike’s other offerings? Head to the comments section and weigh in.

Obviously, this particular shoe was given to the members who played in James’s Skills Academy. The color makeup is comprised of black/varsity red-gold while owning sections of white on the midsole. As for the texture, this sneaker contains leather in the midfoot section that is surrounded by a patent leather strip. At this time, there is no word on whether or not this Soldier III will release, however, would you purchase it if it dropped?

We’ve seen a number of colorways of the Zoom LeBron Soldier III, most recently, the Outdoor Pack, and LIVESTRONG versions.

The Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III Graffiti that we see today, seems to have a similar makeup to the Zoom Kobe Finals Edition. Obviously the colors are geared toward the Cavaliers, but the Gold and Graffiti script, would have been a good look had King James taken the Cavs into the history books and brought the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Maybe Shaq will help out with that next season, but at least we know Nike was prepared.

Obviously, there is a lot of hoopla surrounding the continuing releases of the LIVESTRONG x Nike Stages Collection to say the least. However, over the weekend, we spotted a LIVESTRONG inspired sneaker that caught us by surprise.

Last Thursday, against the Sacramento Monarchs, Seattle Storm point guard Sue Bird sported an exclusive LIVESTRONG x Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III. It features a 100% yellow patent leather base with minimal black accents in the form of the LeBron James logos on the strap and the tongue. No word yet on if and when this shoe will release, however, click here to view additional photos.

Even though LeBron departed earlier than some expected in this years NBA Playoffs, Nike still has colorways to drop of King James’ latest signature sneaker. One of the earliest colorways to be seen of the Zoom LeBron Soldier III was this white and navy colorway.

While many colorways have already arrived at retailers, this Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III just landed at Foot Locker.

We gave you a preview of the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III Baltic Blue a little while back, although King James made an early exit from the playoffs, these kicks could be one of his best for the year.
