Interview with Posdnous of De La Soul “The Art of being a Mercenary”

Posdonus Interview

Ayo Plug 1 your on my man!

Since “3 feet High and Rising” I have been a listener to this man and his crew of some the illest implementation of sampling and inventors of the skit. He carries different names at times and also is the inventor of the Hip Hop Quotable as well. He has been one of Hip Hops most dynamic Emcee’s while remaining humble and respected by his peers. He also has a shoe fetish like most of us, and even has his own Nike SB Dunk to prove it. Nike Air Force 1 “Oxford” Tier Zero

Tier Zero Oxford AF1Nike continues to do any and everything with its most prized possession - the Air Force One. These Air Forces are smothered in what looks like canvas; however, these kicks are made of classic Oxford wool. Equipped with a gum sole bottom, the Tier Zero Air Forces have a very intellectual look.

The Oxford cloth is one of the fabrics to look out for this fall by a handful of designers.  Consisting of three colorways (red, blue, and black) these Forces are a fresh breath of air. Worthy or worthless? Get a more in-depth look after the jump to decide.

These will only be available at Tier Zero doors leaving the majority of us to rely on eBay.  Much thanks to Ken Lu for the photos.

Slam Jam AF1 Optical Force (Detailed Look)

Air Force One Black Slam JamYesterday, we showed you the first look at the initial Air Force One collaboration between Nike and the Milan shop SlamJam.  Today, we bring you an in-depth look at one of the two colorways made. Draped in solid black, the “Optical Force” comes in a rare, wrinkled patent leather texture. The wrinkled texture, which is a rich, Italian leather, gives the shoe a very slick look never seen before. It almost looks as if the shoe is dripping wet!

As stated yesterday, the sneaker is imprinted with the SlamJam logo on the heel and features a leather midsole. Did Nike spice up the Air Force One collection with this collaboration? Stay tuned for pics of the red and grey pairs. Available at Slam Jam, this Saturday, September 20th.

Much thanks to Sneaker News for the photos.

AF1 Slam Jam Edition “Optical Force”

Air Force One Slam JamNike and the Milan, Italian shop SlamJam have collaborated for the first time to form a very solid model of the Nike Air Force One. Appearing in a solid black and solid yellow colorway, the “Optical Force” pack comes in a wrinkled patent leather texture similar to the Blazer Low. The wrinkled texture gives the shoe a different look from the worn-out regular patent leather appearance we’ve seen on a plethora of shoes. The sneaker is imprinted with the SlamJam logo on the heel and features a leather midsole. The accent of white on the sneaker gives it a very fresh, tidy look. Is this appealing to your eye Air Force addicts? Available Saturday, September 20th at Slam Jam.

Much thanks slamjam.com for the photos.
